GAZA AND THE BRITISH PAPERS

1. I have been in the United Kingdom for more than a week - a long time for me to stay in any place abroad.

2. When I left Malaysia the papers and television were full of reports on the Israeli brutalities in Gaza. There were heart-wrenching pictures of little children half-buried in the rubble of destroyed houses. I was very upset with Israeli brutalities and I thought the whole world would condemn Israel.

3. I was shocked that in the United Kingdom, the land of the free press and free speech there was hardly any report on Gaza and the Israeli invasion. Certainly there were no pictures of the brutal killing of children.

4. I understand that it is the same in America, another great advocate of the freedom of the Press.

5. Maybe by freedom of the Press they mean allowing the Press to pick and choose what they wish to publish. Yet they talk about self-censorship in Malaysia. What our papers fail to report is nothing compared to what the British and American media fail to report. Obviously they are protecting Israel's interest.

6. All these give credence to the allegation that the Jews control the Western media. When in 2003 at the OIC conference I said that the Jews rule the world by proxy, I was condemned by the Western press and the US Government. It would seem that Jewish control over the ethnic European countries, in particular the United States of America is total.

Tun,

Do you agree religion is one of the major tool for politician to control poeple and most of the time it divert? Are religion the important tool of Malaysian Politician weapon? If so, it is a pity of of the peoples.

I have read quite a lot on the plight of the Gazans. There are many perspectives to this issue. The Suuni Arabs apparently are not happy with the Hamas and the Hizbollah. Their slow reaction to the plight of the Gazans in the recent Israel onslaught, testifies this hypothesis. Were they condoning the attack by the Israelis? Egypt and many other Arab countries around the region would prefer these two groups not to be there. They are seen as a threat to them, as well. This could be the syiah-Suuni issue and the Sunnis and other groups of moslems look at these two groups as 'extreme'. I won't be surprised that the attack on Gaza, specifically targetting the Hamas fighters and in the process killing the innocent civilians, was conspired by some Arab countries who prefer not to allow the Syiah or these two groups reign supreme in this region. The US would not have attacked Iraq without the tacit support of some Arab countries, I suppose. And, I personally feel that the dominance of Iran is seen as a threat to some Arab countries whose people are predominantly Sunnis, and some of which are wealthy. Of course, no Sunni-majority Arab countires would want to be dominated by the Syiah. I can forsee that if US or Israel were to attack Iran, it must again be with the tacit support of some Arab countries. The US will be paid in cash and kind heavily to do this 'service'. These Arab countries will, for their survival, conspire with Israel and the US. Remember how Kuwait was returned to the Kuwaities after the country was trampled by Sadam's army? It was not done for free. The solution to the Palestinian issue also lies on the Arab countries, but how many Arab countries would want a liberated Palestine? How many Arab countries would want a dominant Iran? How many Sunnis would want to be dominated by the Syiah? I see quite a complex problem in this region, besides just condemning the Western power for the quandary. Your comment, Tun?

Dear Tun

There is NO justification in what Israel is doing to Palestine.
Israeli actions are worse that what the Nazis did.

As an afterthought, the world should have let the Nazis finish the job just as the world allowed George W Bush Jr to finish off Georgw W Bush's job of ousting the former President of Iraq [and later allowing him to be killed] just because Iraq was brave enough to stand against America and Israel.

Best wishes

Assalamu Alaikum Tun,

Of course you are right Tun. Everynone knows that Britain and the United States trademark in dealing with world community is double standard. Therefore western countries especially Britain dan the United States should had not angered at the first place when you said Jews lead these countries by proxy and the worst being colonised silently by the Jews.

Assalamualaikum Ayahanda Tun. You may want to download this video from Australia ABC Lateline which aired in Sydney on 5/2/09. The interviewee paints the real face of Israeli politicians which most of us would not know.

Harretz newspaper's Akiva Eldar joins Lateline [mp4] [wmv] (05/02/2009) at this link http://www.abc.net.au/lateline/vodcast.htm

I don't know whether you watch Youtube, but there were some good interviews done by one of the British reporter (thomson, i think) interviewed Regev after they prevented the red cross from crossing the borders..

But there isn't anything that can be done from the uk or any other countries unless the neighbouring middle eastern countries help out..

Dear Che Det,

Assalamualaikum Tun,

Yes indeed I believe you are correct.
The Jews do control the western media and they pick and choose what they want to publish as advised by their spin doctors.

This is their greatest strength and asset in controlling the minds and hearts of the world to sympathize and support or at least reduce the pressure on them when they commit the atrocities against the Palestinians.

I fail to understand why we can’t see that this is the “easiest” asset belonging to the Jews that we can attack. Their is little benefit in asking the rakyat to boycott Star Bucks or kaki pisang but I think it is a lot easier and makes a lot more sense to boycott the Jewish controlled world main stream media, the CNN, CNBC, Al Jazeera, BBC etc...

All it takes is just one directive by the government to one company’s CEO. This will once and for all stop their control in brainwashing us with their spinned news. (watch: Plato’s Allegory of the Cave on YouTube))

People can give a thousand reasons why this cannot be done but I say “ kalau hendak seribu daya ........”

Next issue: Are we going to be “katak di bawah temporong”

Not if we can get many other countries who wants to get out of this brainwashed bondage by the western media.

We set up a World News Centre in Malaysia.

Each country in this world already have their own domestic news network. All we need from each other is to produce a short one minute clip of each day’s news and “wire” it to each other in the required language.

Thats where our World News Centre comes in. We co-ordinate the collection and distribution of news of participating members. With advancement in broadband technology I am sure there are ways to transmit these short clips fast and cheap with broadcast quality.

Tun, I recall you did talk about a similar proposal some time ago., but what happen to it. Any chance of reviving back that proposal. This hopefully can be a long term solution to break the Jewish “hold” on the people of the world and hence end their dominance..

I think this is Jihad or at least, fardu kifayah on the part of us Muslims. I for one would volunteer to help take up this challenge.

HOW THE UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS FAILED THE PALESTINIANS

written by:
Nurhalida Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khalil

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) of 10 December, 1948 was, in large measure, perceived as a response to the torment of the Jewish people, namely, the deprivation of the Jewish minorities of European States of their civil and political rights.

Michael Ignatieff in ‘Human Rights As Politics and Idolatry’ wrote:
'...The Universal Declaration is written in full awareness of Auschwitz and dawning awareness of Kolyma. A consciousness of European barbarism is built into the very language of the Declaration’s preamble: “whereas disregard and contempt for human rights have resulted in barbarous acts which have outraged the conscience of mankind...

The Holocaust laid bare what the world looked like when pure tyranny was given free rein to exploit natural human cruelty. Without the Holocaust, then, no Declaration. Because of the Holocaust, no unconditional faith in the Declaration either. The Holocaust demonstrates both the prudential necessity of human rights and their ultimate fragility...'

Earlier, the United Nations Charter, which was drafted in San Francisco in May, 1945 before the end of the Second World War, embodied seven references to human rights in addition to using the term ‘fundamental freedoms’ in the United Nations Charter of 1945, including the preamble of the same Charter, which proclaims the determination of Member States of the United Nations:

'to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war, which twice in our lifetime has brought untold sorrow to mankind, and
to reaffirm our faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person, in the equal rights of men and women and of nations large and small, and to establish conditions under which justice and respect for the obligations arising under treaties and other sources of international law can be maintained, and to promote social progress and better standards of life in larger freedom...'

The UDHR is, in essence, not a treaty but a resolution emerging from the United Nations General Assembly. Thus, although it may have moral and (to a certain degree, by operation of customary international law) legal authority, the declaration does not legally bind States in a way a treaty would.

It was due to this that the norms embodied in the UDHR were later reaffirmed in two legally binding agreements upon ratifying States : The International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) and the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESR), both of which were formally adopted by the General Assembly in 1966 and entered into force in 1976.

The drafters of the UDHR were willing to live with a mere declaration because they believed it would raise human rights consciousness around the world and in so doing restraint potential conflicts between human beings.

Yet, the UDHR has not prevented conflicts between human beings. Instead, the UDHR appears to be the very source of these conflicts.
In fact, the nature and essence of such a conflict is that it is actually a conflict between competing claimants of human rights.
This is especially the case of the Palestinians who have been fighting for the past six decades for their survival as a peoples. During the same period under the guise of defending and upholding the rights of the people of Israel to their homeland, the Palestinians, as a people, have not only had their lands seized but also have been expelled by the Israelis.

If claimants of human rights conflict, we cannot speak of human rights as trumps and if human rights are not trumps, then the drafting of the UDHR was an exercise in futility.
The idea that rights resemble what Ronald Dworkin calls ‘trumps’ implies that when rights are introduced into a political discussion, they serve to resolve the discussion.

In fact, the opposite is the case, human rights appear to have the tendency to create a spirit of non-negotiable confrontation.

A claimant of rights may create tension as this claimant of rights may appear to conflict, overlap or intercede with another claimant of rights. It is even more unfortunate of the human rights system that a claimant of the ideals of freedom and a claimant of equality are often in conflict.

Since the inception of the problem in May 1948 when Israel was established on 78 per cent of what used to be Palestine, the issue of the right of the Palestinians to self-determination and the issue of refugee rights of the Palestinians, among other components of the Palestinian human rights related question (the issue of ethnic majorities ruling people who are not citizens and who do not come under full constitutional protection of the national laws of Israel and the issue of the construction of a wall in the Occupied Palestinian Territory) continue to bedevil the international community and particularly the members of the United Nations Security Council despite six decades of the existence of the UDHR.

Human rights advocates do well to be sensitive to this problem of conflicts between competing claimants of rights and very few of them do realize that this problem poses serious difficulties for them. Certainly, it is clear that this inability of the UDHR to prevent conflicts between competing claimants of rights is a severe hindrance to arguing not only about human rights but also the universality of human rights.

I. What are human rights?

The UDHR is an attempt to define human rights and fundamental freedoms as embodied in the United Nations Charter and serves as a the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as ‘a common standard for achievement for all peoples’.

Many important resolutions and decisions adopted by the United Nations bodies, including the General Assembly and the Security Council, cite the UD HR. Nearly all of the international human rights instruments adopted by the United Nations bodies since 1948 elaborate on principles set out in the UDHR.

Its undeniable strength resides in the international recognition that all human beings inherently and equally possess rights which are universal because they are after all, human beings.

The UDHR consists of a preamble and 30 articles. The preamble states that recognition of the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all individuals, is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world.

The UDHR proclaims two broad categories of rights : civil and political rights on the one hand, and economic, social and cultural rights, on the other.

Article 1, which lays down the philosophy upon which the UDHR is based, reads :

'All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.'

The article thus defines the basic assumptions of the UDHR :
(1) that the right to liberty and equality is man’s birthright and cannot be alienated; and
(2) that because man is a rational and moral being, he is different from other creatures on earth and is therefore entitled to certain rights and freedoms which other creatures do not enjoy.

Article 2, which sets out the basic principle of equality and non-discrimination as regards the enjoyment of human rights and fundamental freedoms, forbids :
'the distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status.'

Article 3, the first corner stone of the declaration, proclaims the right to life, liberty and security of person – a right essential to the enjoyment of all other rights.

This article introduces articles 4 to 21, in which other civil and political rights are set out. The rights dealt with includes freedom from slavery and servitude; freedom from torture or from cruel, inhumane or degrading treatment or punishment; the right to recognition everywhere as a person before the law; the right to an effective judicial remedy; freedom from arbitrary arrest; detention or exile; the right to a fair trial and public hearing by an independent and impartial tribunal; the right to be presumed innocent until proven guilty; freedom from arbitrary interference upon privacy, family, home or correspondence; freedom of movement and residence; the right to seek asylum, the right to nationality, the right to marry and to found a family; the right to own property; the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; the right to freedom of opinion and expression; the right to peaceful assembly and association; the right to take part in the government of one’s country and the right to equal access to public service in one’s country.

Article 22, the second cornerstone of the UDHR, introduces articles 23 to 27, in which economic, social and cultural rights – the rights to which everyone is entitled ‘as a member of society’, are set out. The article characterizes these rights as indispensable for human dignity and for the free development of personality and indicates that these rights are to be realized “through national effort and international co-operation”. At the same time, it points out the limitations, the extent of which depends upon the resources of each State.

The economic, social and cultural rights recognized in articles 22-27 include the right to social security, the right to work, the right to equal pay for equal work, the right to rest and leisure, the right to a standard of living adequate for health and well-being, the right to education and the right to participate in the cultural life of the community.

II. What is the meaning of human rights?

What is a human right, in particular, what does it mean to say that one has human rights?

Human rights are, as one would agree, the rights derived from the inherent dignity of human persons. These are rights one has simply because he is a human being. All human beings thus have the same human rights. As these rights are rooted in nothing other than one’s nature as a human being, they are not only ‘natural’ and equal rights but also inalienable rights, for one’s nature as a human being cannot be alienated. And they are rights, in the strong sense of entitlements, to equal concern and respect and a wide range of inalienable personal rights simply because one is a human being.

However, at the outset, I would propose that human rights remain as inherently abstract ideals until they are demanded, asserted, pressed or claimed by the right-holder against those in relation to whom the rights are held.

In sum, human rights remain as abstract notions until they are actually exercised as a performed action.
Based on the above preposition, firstly, I would argue that human rights must be put in their proper place. This is to be done by choosing to view them as part of a moral construct.

Now, it is generally stated by rights theorists that there can be no rights without duties; but this is generally regarded as stating the obvious, that a right is only wishful thinking unless it can be made good by the performance of someone else’s duty. The two are thus conceived as two sides of the same coin.

This symmetry, however, is incomplete. There is the idea of duty which recognizes the interest of another, or others, as coming before one’s own. It is this duty that governs the parameters of human rights of a person claiming to exercise it. And it this duty which I would term as human duties.

Secondly, I would maintain that like legal and moral rights, all human rights entail correlative duties. To say that A has a human right to X with respect to B (State) implies that B (State) has certain duties to A. But, like in the case of legal and moral rights, there is the possibility of duties which are not correlative to the human rights of A.

Consequently, taking the case of the same tripartite relationship, as described above, I would argue that the parameters of A’s right to X with respect to B can be specified and determined by A’s duties, which are not correlative to B’s right, which A has to perform. A’s duties which are not correlative to B’s right, which A must perform are what I meant as human duties. To reiterate, A’s human duties are not correlative to B’s rights. Instead they specify and determine the parameters of A’s rights to X with respect to B.

In demonstrating how human duties bear out in relation to specific rights, I would argue that, a source of difficulty in arguing about human rights is that what passes for such argument is in fact nearly always arguments about the acceptance of human duties which would determine the parameters of the human right in question.

The dimension of the parameters of human rights is significant in three respects:

Firstly, the parameters of human rights would specify the range of specific cases or instances to which the right applies; secondly, the parameters would specify the issue of weight of the right of an individual or group of individuals vis-à-vis right of other individual or groups of individuals and thirdly, the parameters would specify the weight of the right vis-à-vis considerations of social utility.

III. The Parameters of the UDHR

In the UDHR, the parameters of human rights same is subjected to the notion of duties and restrictions or ‘clawback clauses’.
The UDHR enumerates many rights, while finding it sufficient to refer in Article 29(1) to duties, without any elaboration on the meaning and nature of these duties or without any indication of the responsibility that arises from neglecting these duties.
With the exception of a short paragraph 1 in article 29 of the UDHR, there is no reference in the UDHR to the counterpart of the rights of man, namely, the duties of man.

Article 29, para. 1 of the UDHR declares :
'Everyone has duties to the community in which alone the free and full development of his personality is possible.'

The above provision refers to ‘everyone’ as duty-bearer which is the formulation used throughout the UDHR to indicate right-holders.
The said provision declares that everyone has duties toward the community in which alone, the free and full development of the human personality is possible.

The raison d’etre of duties in the performance of one’s human right is not difficult to comprehend. We are, as Aristotle suggests, social animals. The reference to “the community in which alone the free and full development of the personality is possible” is an important recognition of the role of the community in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which is often considered the epitome of individualism. In the words of Article 29(1) of the same declaration, the community is not merely important, it is considered essential. The link between individual duties and the valorization of the communal dimension of life, reflects the concern that inspires the insistence on duties.

Nonetheless, Article 29(1) of the same declaration interestingly is silent on the meaning of “community” in the provision cited above. Is a community based on religious affiliation, cultural affinity, demography, the state, the international community or mankind? Is the development of the human personality to be applied in one specific manner for all communities?

There is hardly any substantial jurisprudence deriving from the relevant international human rights bodies to shed light on the following aspects of human duties:

Firstly, from the aspect of human duties, which incorporates the meaning of human duties, human duties-bearer, beneficiary of human duties, enumeration of human duties and finally, the relationship between human duties and human rights.
Secondly, from the perspective of human duties and its link to the limitations or restrictions on human rights.

The recognition of limitations or restrictions on the exercise of human rights and fundamental freedoms is contained in article 29(2) of the UDHR, which stipulates :

In the exercise of his rights and freedoms, everyone shall be subject only to such limitations as are determined by law solely for the purpose of securing due recognition and respect for the rights and freedoms of others and of meeting the just requirements of morality, public order and the general welfare in a democratic society.

The reference to ‘respect for the rights and freedoms of others’ is a phrase which political philosophers will recognize as pure John Stuart Mill i.e. your liberty to swing your arms ends where my nose begins.

One’s individual right or freedom may not be exercised to the detriment of others.

Limitations are placed not only on the exercise of certain rights of the individual but also on the power of the State to restrict the rights arbitrarily in any manner it might choose. The State may not perform any act aimed at limiting human rights and fundamental freedoms to a greater extent than which is allowed by the Universal Declaration.

A basic criterion for evaluating the legitimacy and legality of a limitation can be derived from Article 29(2) that is the principle of proportionality. This principle implies that the extent of any limitation should be proportionate to the need or to the higher interest protected by the limitation. It is to some extent a safeguard against ineffective or disproportionate measures.

The principle of proportionality requires that any special measures are prescribed by a law which must determine under what conditions or on what grounds and for which purpose a State is permitted to restrict the exercise of human rights. It entails a sufficient degree of precision on the parameter of powers which is not so wide as to amount to unbridled discretion while it insists on alternative measures of control to the exercise of any power if judicial review is effectively excluded.

Related to the preceding point, is the issue of the degree of discretion accorded to the states in determining the actual scope of many of these rights, of which, the doctrine of ‘margin of appreciation’ is relevant.

The issue of proportionality came before the International Court of Justice for an Advisory Opinion sought by the United Nations General Assembly Re: Legal Consequences of the Construction of a Wall in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.

With regard to the purpose of the wall, Israel’s contention was that it was needed to effectively combat terrorist attacks launched from the west Bank. Furthermore, Israel contended that the Barrier was a temporary measure emphasising that it did not annex territories to the State or Israel and that it ‘was ready and able at tremendous cost to adjust or dismantle if so required as part of a political settlement.’

The ICJ was not convinced that the specific course Israel has chosen for the wall was necessary to attain its security objectives. It observed :
'The wall, along the route chosen, and its associated regime greatly infringe a number of rights of Palestinians residing in the territory occupied by Israel and the infringements resulting from the route cannot be justified by military exigencies or by the requirement of national security or public order. The construction of such a wall accordingly breached by Israel of various of its obligations under the applicable international humanitarian law and human rights instruments.'

Hence the security feared by Israel was disproportionate to the huge civilian damage to the Palestine inhabitants.

The Court further stated :
'The fact remains that Israel has to face numerous indiscriminate and deadly acts of violence against its civilian population. It has the right, and indeed the duty to respond in order to protect the life of its citizens. The measures taken are bound nevertheless to remain in conformity with applicable international law.'

Article 29(3) of the UDHR provides :
'These rights and freedoms may in no case be exercised contrary to the purposes and principles of the United Nations.'

The purposes and principles of the United Nations may be found in the preamble and articles 1 and 2 of the United Nations Charter.
Article 1 of the United Nations Charter, which recites the purposes of the United Nations, includes respect for the ‘self-determination of peoples’ and for ‘human rights and fundamental freedoms for all without distinction as to race, sex, language or religion.’

Lastly, Article 30 of the UDHR provides :
'Nothing in this Declaration may be interpreted as implying for any State, group or persons any right to engage in any activity or to perform any act aimed at the destruction of any of the rights and freedoms set forth therein.'

The fundamental provision is designed to prohibit not only the State but also groups or individuals from using the provisions of the UDHR as a shield for activities that will undermine the basic free and democratic order and destroy the rights as recognised in the said declaration.

In other words, its aim is to safeguard the rights protected by the Universal Declaration by protecting the free operation of democratic institutions.

Thus, in the UDHR, the parameters of the claims of human rights are often termed in a manner sufficiently ambiguous so as to encompass different and contradictory interpretations, causing the possibility of incomprehension, ineffectiveness and conflicts between competing claimants of rights.

Given the inevitable conflict which results from interpretative variations of indeterminate standards among competing claimants of rights, it remains highly debatable whether the UDHR can reflect any significant understanding about the parameters of the claims of human rights.

IV. The Rights of Jewish Minorities of Europe to Self-Determination viz-a-viz The Palestinians’ Right to Self-Determination

The issue of the rights of Jewish minorities of European States to self-determination albeit the creation of Israel viz-a-viz the rights of the Palestinians’ to self-determination puts a test to human rights in the sense that the notion of human rights becomes fragile from the moment when one examines the parameters of these norms.

The right of peoples to self-determination has been defined as ‘the peoples (who?) shall govern itself (how?) on its territory (where?)’.

Against the backdrop of colonization, the objective of promoting the ‘self-determination of peoples’ was included among the founding purposes of the United Nations Charter in Article 1(2):

To develop friendly relations among nations based on respect for the principle of equal rights and self-determination of peoples and to take other appropriate measures to strengthen universal peace
However, the relevant Charter provisions merely impose obligations on the states responsible for non-self-governing territories to ‘develop self-government’ with no mention of independence.

Accordingly, the UDHR does not proclaim the right of peoples to self-determination. Instead the Declaration endorses the right to self government, although self-government was clearly not identical to independence.

Consequently, at the behest of several new states in the General Assembly of the United Nations, in the midst of colonial emancipation, the right of peoples to self-determination’ was included in Article 1 of the ICCPR and ICESCR respectively.

Article 1 of ICCPR and ICESR respectively provides :

'1. All peoples have the right of self-determination. By virtue of that right they freely determine their political status and freely pursue their economic, social and cultural development.

2. All peoples may, for their own ends, freely dispose their natural wealth and resources without prejudice to any obligations arising out of international economic cooperation, based upon the principle of mutual benefit, and international law. In no case may a people be deprived of its own means of substance.

3. The State parties to the present Covenant, including those having responsibility for the administration of Non-Self-Governing and Trust Territories, shall promote the realization of the right of self-determination in conformity with the provisions of the Charter of the United Nations.'

The right of peoples to self-determination sparked off the following questions relating to the parameters of that right: For whom the right of self-determination applies? What constitutes a ‘people’? How do the people govern themselves? Where do the peoples govern themselves?

In this respect, Mary Ann Glendon in ‘A World Made New: Eleanor Roosevelt and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights’ wrote:

'...the debate on the meaning of that right was “genuinely and objectively complex.Who was entitled to claim the right-an individual, a group, a nation? What constitutes a “people”?What action may legitimately be taken to achieve this right? How does it relate to the rights in the Universal Declaration? Or to the responsibility of the individual to obey and respect national law?
The 1966 Covenants announced the right but did not provide guidance on those questions.'[emphasis added]

More importantly, the right of peoples to self-determination raises the question on the exact relationship between such a right and Article 30 of the UDHR.

The collective right to self-determination is usually defended on the strength that it is intrinsically valuable for a self-determining ‘peoples’ or it is a means for protecting individuals who share a society together against the worst forms of cruelties and oppression that politically organized societies can inflict upon individuals.

The classic case of oppressed minorities preferring a state of their own than in the protection of international human rights is of course, the State of Israel. The surviving Jewish peoples’ overwhelming desire to create a Jewish State, capable of defending the Jews everywhere against oppression reveals that they trusted more to the establishment of a state of their own than to the protection of human rights within other peoples’ national states.
However, is there a right of minorities to victimize other peoples under the guise of their claim to the right to self-determination?

Article 30, as mentioned above, provides that nobody may invoke the rights and freedoms in support of an activity aimed at the destruction of any of the declared rights and freedoms. In short: no freedom for the enemies of freedom.

The State of Israel, born on 14 May 1948, was carved out of Palestine, in the midst of mass displacement and expulsion of the primarily but not exclusively Arab population of mandatory Palestine.

The preliminary part of Victor Kattan’s article entitled ‘The Nationality of Denationalized Palestinians’ which referred to Hersch Lauterpacht’s article entitled ‘Nationality of Denationalized Persons’, exemplified an irony, in Kattan’s following words:

'In 1948, the year of the Palestinian Nakbah, Hersch Lauterpacht wrote an article entitled the “Nationality of Denationalized Persons”. His article was about the former Jewish citizens of Germany denationalized by the National Socialist Party in 1935 and in 1941. Lauterpacht expressed concern about the effect of denationalization decrees on Jews who sought refuge in the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland and elsewhere. In the 1930s and 1940s millions of Jewish immigrants fled Shoah for Palestine as the doors to Great Britain and the United States were shut to them. This paper is about the nationality of the former Arab citizens of the British Mandate of Palestine who just like their Jewish counterparts were denationalized under different circumstances.'

In 1517, the Ottoman Turks ruled Palestine. The majority population then were Arab Muslims. When World War 1 broke out in 1914, Britain promised the Arabs, including the Palestinians, independence from Ottoman rule in return for their support in battle against Turkey, an ally of Germany. But the promise of independence did not come.

In 1915, to gain Jewish support for its war, Britain issued the Balfour Declaration which affirmed British’s support for the creation of a Jewish ‘national home’ in Palestine, without violating ‘the civil and religious rights of the existing non-Jewish communities’.

After the war, the League of Nations divided the defeated Ottoman Empire into “mandated territories”. Palestine then became a mandated British territory. When the League of Nations outlined the mandate for Palestine, it embodied the British government’s previously announced policy of facilitating the establishment there of a Jewish national home, which would involve Jewish immigration from Europe and elsewhere into the territory. The Arabs felt that Britain had betrayed the Palestinians in handing Palestine over to the Zionists. In the early 1930s, over 100,000 Jewish refugees emigrated to Palestine from Nazi Germany and Poland.

Fearing that this mandate would lead eventually to the establishment of a Jewish State there, the Arab majority argued that the mandate unconstitutionally violated the Covenant of the League of Nations, by frustrating the national independence which Article 22 of the same Covenant had provisionally recognised for those who were Palestine’s indigenous inhabitants as of 1919.

However, the British view did not place such emphasis on the legal role of Article 22 or the League of Nations. Lord Balfour, who had been the British Foreign Secretary at the end of the war, concluded that the ‘mandates are neither made by the League, nor can they, in substance, be altered by the League.’

The above statement constituted a rejection of the Palestinian argument that sovereignty over Palestine, resting no longer in the former Turkish rulers nor in the League of Nations or the Mandatory power, must have rightfully belonged as of 1919 to the Arab inhabitants.

In 1939, the British government published a White paper restricting Jewish immigration and offering independence for Palestine within ten years. The Zionists rejected the paper, and subsequently organized a series of bloody terror campaigns against the British and the Palestinians to drive them both out of Palestine and to pave way for the establishment of the Zionist state.

When the United Nations replaced the League of Nations after World War II, the Mandate system was replaced by the Trusteeship system. All of the former mandated territories were placed under the system by their Mandatories (who were then appointed by the administering authorities in the same territories) with the exception of certain entities including those territories-Syria, Lebanon and Palestine (now Israel and Jordan) which had become or were soon to become independent.

After World War II, Jewish survivors of the Nazi Holocaust represented the second wave of exodus back to the region. Aggravated Arab resentment of the Jewish occupation then gave birth to various Palestinians nationalist movements.

In 1947, Great Britain, in its decolonization process, decided to withdraw from Palestine.

In the same year, the General Assembly of the United Nations decided to partition the country into a Jewish and an Arab State, with Jerusalem and its environs cordoned off as a separate entity under UN trusteeship.

The legal competence of the General Assembly to establish two independent States in Palestine was questioned on the grounds that the partition plan did not adequately take into account regard to the principle of self-determination.

On the General Assembly’s resolution to partition Palestine, Victor Kattan in his article entitled ‘The Nationality of Denationalized Palestinians’ quoted Henry Cattan, a Palestinian jurist, as noting:

'In terms of population, the Jews in 1947 constituted less than one- third of the inhabitants of Palestine: 608,230 Jews out of a total population of 1,972,560. What is more, only one-tenth of the Jews were original inhabitants; the rest were immigrants originating mostly from Poland, the U.S.S.R., and central Europe. And only one-third of these immigrants had acquired Palestinian citizenship. The Jewish community then existing in Palestine was, therefore, composed mainly of foreigners-both by origin and nationality. Nowhere, except in Palestine, have foreign immigrants been allowed to break up the territorial integrity of the country in which they came to live[emphasis added].'

The partition plan apparently failed. On the one hand, it was favourable to most Jewish organizations as the plan allowed at last the fulfillment of the dream of a Jewish homeland. On the other, it was unfavourable to Palestinians. The Arab states were opposed to the establishment of a Jewish state in a territory where the Arabs were the majority.

The partition plan had led to intense disagreement between member states of the United Nations over the fate of Palestine.
Mary Ann Glendon in ‘A World Made New: Eleanor Roosevelt and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights’ referred to the speech against the partition plan by General Carlos Romulo of the Philippines in the General Assembly:

'We hold that the issue is primarily moral. The issue is whether the United Nations should accept responsibility for the enforcement of a policy which, not being mandatory under any specific provision of the Charter nor in accordance with its fundamental principles, is clearly repugnant to the valid nationalist aspirations of the people of Palestine...

In taking this position, my Government is not unmindful of the sufferings of the great Jewish people who we hold in sincere admiration......During the first dispersal of the Jews from Hitlerite Germany, the Philippines was among the very few countries that opened their doors to Jewish refugees and extended them a cordial welcome.'

Fighting between the two communities, the Jews and the Palestinians, led to the Second Special Session of the General Assembly in April and May 1948.The General Assembly failed to pass a resolution on the state of its rapidly disintegrating partition plan.

Finally, the General Assembly abandoned Palestine to a military solution, with the first Arab-Israeli war breaking out on 14 May 1948 as the mandate ended.

On May 14, 1948, with United Nations’ endorsement, the Jews proclaimed its independent State of Israel. The next day, the armies of Egypt, Transjordan (now Jordan), Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq joined Palestinian and Arab forces to attack Israel. The Arabs lost the war, and Israel gained further territories.

Wars broke out again in 1956 and 1967. By the end of these wars, Israel further occupied the West Bank, Sinai Peninsula and Gaza Strip, then under Egypt, and the Golan Heights under Syria.

V. The Palestinians’ Right to Return

Although the issue of the Palestinian refugees and its resolution is central to a permanent solution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the issue has been marginalized despite the fact that Israel’s admission to the United Nations was made contingent on its compliance with the United Nations General Assembly Resolution 194 of December 1948, stating that those ‘refugees wishing to return to their homes and live in peace with their neighbours should be permitted to do so at the earliest practicable date’.

The Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) insists that Israel comply with what the PLO views as Israel’s obligation to recognise the nationality of displaced Palestinians and allow them the right to return.

The PLO position is supported by the obligation of a State to admit its nationals developed in customary international law and reaffirmed in human rights law.

The UDHR which proclaims “Everyone has the right to leave any country, including his own, and to return to his country,” is implied to mean prohibition against anyone forced out would immediately be entitled to return.

Another preposition in customary international is that a national acquires the nationality of the successor state, which is supported by another argument found in international law where there has been an effort to avoid the status of statelessness.

The ICCPR also mandates repatriation, guaranteeing every person a right to ‘enter his own country’. The ICCPR uses the phrase ‘his own country’ instead of ‘state of his nationality’ precisely to include persons not recognized as nationals though they are entitled to it.

To monitor compliance, the ICCPR established a Human Rights Committee that construes ‘his own country’ broadly to include ‘nationals of a country who have been stripped of their nationality in violation of international law’ and ‘individuals whose country of nationality has been incorporated in or transferred to another national entity, whose nationality is being denied to them’. Under the Committee’s construction, the right of entry as guaranteed in the ICCPR applies to Palestinian refugees.
The PLO position also finds confirmation in international practice.
In 1948, the United Nations General Assembly called on Israel to repatriate the refugees in a resolution reflecting the General Assembly’s understanding that international law required repatriation for those refugees.

Palestinians partisans view the United Nations Resolution 194 as a clear requirement for repatriation as supported by the following arguments :
• that in later resolutions, the General Assembly referred to a Palestinian return as a matter of right e.g. in one resolution, it “reaffirmed also the inalienable right of the Palestinians to return to their homes and property from which they have been displaced and uprooted, and called for their return;”
• that the phrase “live in peace” can logically be interpreted in a way that is consistent with return as a right; and
• that the UN Resolution 194 intended that the displaced Palestinians be allowed to return “as soon as practically possible”

In dealing with military conflicts in the Balkans elsewhere, the United Nations Security Council has insisted on the refugees’ repatriation and characterized their return as a matter of legal right. This Security Council practice is indicative of a right of return in international law.

Neither demographic balance nor military security affords Israel justification for refusing the right of repatriation. In fact, the practice of the United Nations illustrates that calls on states to repatriate have been made even where the military situation was tenuous and where ethnic conflict had led to a desire to exclude persons of certain groups e.g. The UN High Commissioner for Refugees has urged repatriation in the wake of mass displacement, despite possible security concerns.

Israeli leaders and legal experts do not believe that the “right of return” for Palestinian has any basis in customary international law and conventional law.

The Israeli government which defines Israeli nationals as excluding displaced Palestinians and analysts who adopts its views, have stated that the Palestinian has no right to return because Israel is not his or her own country.

Additionally, Israel supports the theory that the right of return exists only for individuals and not large groups on the basis that a right to return for large groups “is not recognized in human rights instruments such as the Universal Declaration and the ICCPR.”
Israel also referred to physical security as a reason for justifying the denial of Palestinians’ right to return.

Israel interprets the repatriation clause of UN resolution 194 as ambiguous and lacking in binding force on the following grounds :
• that it does not recognise a “right” for the Palestinians to return as the clause states “should be permitted” to return, but it does not mention a “right” to return;
• that it grants the right of return only to Palestinians who wished to live in peace as the clause calls for the repatriation of displaced Palestinians “wishing to…live at peace with their neighbours”; and
• that it implies that repatriation is desirable but is not required as a matter of legal obligation as the clause mentions the repatriation should occur “at the earliest practicable date.”

An argument advanced by Israeli analysts was that the phrase “his own country” in the ICCPR gives a right of entry only to persons recognized by the state in question as its nationals, and therefore the ICCPR does not give Palestinian refugees a right of entry. Israel’s nationality legislation extends nationality to the population in the territory in which it established itself in 1948, but specifically excludes persons displaced in 1948.

Conclusion

This very act of carving out a country from an already populated land had created a trouble spot in the Middle East, which continues to fester until today.

The Israel-Palestinian conflict is reflective of how the exercise of a claim of the Jewish minorities’ right to self-determination may solve their human rights problems at the expense of the Palestinians’ right to their own homeland.

Although in 1948, the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted the UDHR as ‘a common standard for achievement for all peoples’, the standard of process, application or conduct of the claims of the rights as enshrined in the UDHR, has yet to be defined.

Acceptance of such a standard of practice, would need to be acceptable and subscribed to, by all as a common benchmark of prescribed actions, leading in intent towards human dignity.
Only then can an empathetic understanding of peace among each other be entrusted and shared by all communities and their civilizations.
After all, the epitome of human dignity would be the universal standard of process, application or conduct of claims of human rights.

Thus ends my brief legal overview of the issues at hand.

I would sincerely apreciate your kind thoughts & comments.

Thank you

Anti-Semitism in Malaysia
There is a strong strand of anti-semitism in the Malaysian body politics that needs to be exorcised.

There is a big difference between disagreeing and protesting the actions of the state of Israel and being against/hate people of Jewish descent.

Other than the regular protest against Israel which turn into rants about Jews, my first brush with Anti-Semitism in Malaysia was Ibrahim Ali (yes the current MP) giving a speech when he was running as an independent in a by-election in Pasir Mas. That must have been in the late 80's or early 90's.

It was a long rant about how Yahudi"s were controlling the world. Even then, I wondered, what relevance did this have in a Pasir Mas by-election (it was not about Israel but some conspiracy where people of jewish origin were taking over the world). A rather long and hateful rant (if you have heard him since you can see he is a rather boisterous, combative and yes a hateful personality, one wonders what he would do in a world full of peace) that seemed so out of place that I still remember it.

Discourse about Palestine is passionate. Even I feel strongly about it. But the fact is a large proportion of the population of Israel vote for peace based parties. One should disassociate the actions of the state from its people. That simply does not happen in the case of Israel.

Instead in Malaysia we get all kinds of conspiracy theories. Remember Mahathir blaming George Soros and the Jews for the Asian Financial Crisis? Why is he not blaming "the jews" now for the present state of the world economy? Is this not another scheme for domination? If not then the earlier rants were rubbish too.

See this latest by Mahathir

6. All these give credence to the allegation that the Jews control the Western media. When in 2003 at the OIC conference I said that the Jews rule the world by proxy, I was condemned by the Western press and the US Government. It would seem that Jewish control over the ethnic European countries, in particular the United States of America is total.

It is so hateful, such a lie that any reasonable man could see through it. It breeds hatred and resentment. Anyone objective who actually reads various press would know the above statement is frankly a lie, but Mahathir gets away with it and his brigade of worshippers agree without having exposure to the press in the first place. They accept what he says as the truth.

It is so critical to form your own experiences from direct experience rather than accepting what people say at face value. Unfortunately Mahathir's stature means that what he says is accepted as gospel. You can't be objective in his forum.

And I think PAS too suffers from this anti-semitist discourse though what relevance it has in Malaysia, I do not know.

Why I disagree with this so strongly?

This hatred of the jew being whipped up on and off in Malaysia, other than being fundamentally and morally wrong isn't so far from being racist about one another in Malaysia.

How many cinapek, melayu, india jokes does everyone know? How about the jokes and arguments at dinners where everyone belong to the same homogenous group and the conversation turns chauvinistic? It's not a big leap from being racist about jews and being racist about other Malaysians. It's not a big jump at all. And the discourse about jews is not that different from the discourse in some blogs about the non-bumiputeras trying to "takeover" Malaysia. What is the difference when they are both products of hate.

We must kill the racism in our hearts completely. We can't kill a little bit and keep a special place for the yahudi. It has to go completely, and we must view conflicts like Palestine as what they are, rather than some giant conspiracy by a race of people.

Otherwise in Malaysia, the discourse, will always be , Cina Kaya, Melayu Malas, India, kotor and kaki minum and other stereotypes just as Yahudi's have been stereotyped.. Racism should have no place anywhere.

Unfortunately people have read what they wanted to about my comments rather than trying to read what I was trying to say.

In essence , Tun was in england when Gaza was not from page news. It was before.

as to anti-semitism. I think it important to distinguish between disagreeing with the actions of the state of israel and being anti one entire race of people.

They are hugely different.

So here is Tun is england saying Gaza is not being covered. I disagree and say the same is happening in Malaysia. Open your papers tomorrow and see if it is front page news anymore. Is Darfur being covered?

So can I then make the generalisation that the Jews control the Malaysian media?

What is happening in Palestine is wrong and should be condemned and hopefully some stern action is taken. But to use that and say the press is controlled by one race of people? That's wrong too. Any objective analysis can show that but the Tun is not interested in being objective in this case.

salam tun.
klau yahudi 2 mmg yahudi gak..
harap Allah merahmati roh2 para syuhada.
amin....

American Media

1) Jews don’t control the media, the government-of-the-day agenda does. And the Republican-Christian-Right highly influences news reporting after they found a friend in born-again Bush who claimed God spoke to him every night and told him to attack Iraq.

2) If a newspaper or radio station is Jewish-owned, don’t be so sure it is pro-Israel. It might not be.

3) Via the Patriot Act, or lets at least say since 911, news is highly filtered. I have to get USA news from the outside, its better and more accurate. If you must know, my parents in USA often ask me the news or ask me where to get it. As rubbish, USA papers are unreadable. Its not that the news is necessarily false, it’s a matter of what gets reported or not.

5) It is quite wrong to say Israel-Muslim events are non-reported. Im 50+ and don’t remember a day in my entire life when the conflict was not reported in the media. Excuse me, it’s a deafening noise and this has contributed to Americans turning off their brains to it. As far as every detail that each side would like to see reported or slanted, yes that’s a problem. But in the editorial sections there is better balance as both sides do write actively. However, extremism on either side is most likely kept out.

6) Never in our history do I recall blood being shown in general media, its against our sensibilities. For me as a guest in your country, it shocks and hurts me to see a bloody car or bus accident in the paper or bloody babies for that matter. In USA, blood is seen enough in reality on the streets everyday and we know that if blood would make it to TV or newspaper it would be for dramatic effect, to sell a point.

7) Years ago, long ago, there were many more newspapers and radio stations in USA and you could easily find whatever topic or slant you wanted. But now its far different. Remember that USA is very diverse and consists of multiple cultures competing for attention. In my state, California, Mexicans are abundant and to help drive their agenda, they purchased most of the radio stations and opened at least 10 TV stations and filled the airways with agenda and music and shows centered on Mexican life and pro-Mexico pursuits in USA. Primarily its about making millions of illegal aliens defy the government and over-stay. How would you feel if Indonesian workers in KL bought all the stations and played their agenda 24/7? That’s what we have.

Hope this helps.

Maybe I can add some perspective to the blog by explaining a few things about USA you probably didn’t know, and about Jews. If I ramble a bit its because Im replying to several blog entries at once.

First, let me say as an American in Malaysia for the past nearly 10 years I was very surprised when Tun Mahathir left office. I have admired Tun Mahathirs’s tenacity, discipline and persistence towards his life goals and that is both the point you should also admire and the point most often related about him in the USA press. Probably none of you saw those articles in which Tun expressed both criticism and hope for Malay people but Americans did. You really can have what you want in life if youre willing to sacrifice for it and there are many good examples around the world to follow, whether in Malaysia or USA.

Few of you understand America or Americans except by movies and newspapers. Some of you have traveled to USA, some have studied and worked; but, like me in Malaysia, unless one were born and raised in USA, how could one understand the mind and ways of the so-called average American?

MYTH. Americans voted for Bush in his second term because they agreed with his policies.
TRUTH. The victory was extremely narrow. VP Cheney was on the air night and day before the election alleging that a new 911 attack was imminent and that Sen. Kerry didn’t have the experience to defend the country. People, scared and not knowing the truth, narrowly re-elected Bush despite his very low approval ratings. After the election, the allegations proved false but it was too late.

MYTH. USA attacked Iraq over weapons of mass destruction or to steal the oil or to finish the job started by Bush Sr. in the 1991 Gulf War.
TRUTH. 1) The most solid rumors are that Saddam was planning to switch from USD to EURO for oil trading and Bush warned him to stop. He didn’t. We attacked. 2) We never took a drop of oil. Halliburton, charged with supplying the soldiers with petrol, turned off all the wells in Iraq which caused the world supply to lessen, which caused the world prices to rise, which allowed the “seven sisters” to rape the world for the largest profits in history—in which Bush plays a part. (please read the book, House of Bush, House of Saud. Myself, I was spitting up before I was half-way and couldn’t finish it).

You think you know Americans but if you traveled there, how many kinds of experiences did you have? How many different kinds of people did you talk to? What was the nature and quality of the experiences and conversations? When was the last time you sat in a coffee shop in USA and asked the fellow next to you how he felt about Israel and Jews? For that matter, when was the last time you asked a Jew in an American coffee shop how he felt about America or other Americans?

To get that answer we have to go back a bit. USA was founded by right-thinking British escaping wrong-thinking British and the cornerstone of the ensuing Declaration of Independence was freedom—freedom of thought, occupation, religion, everything. Not at all anarchy but the right to pursue the life you dream. By the same right that Malaysians can enter USA and make a new life so can everyone else. And everyone else did. The problem with genuine freedom is that it doesn’t pick and choose who is free and who isn’t. All are free. USA gave, and gives, everyone the same chance to start a new life. Who is bad or good, who is liked or disliked isn’t a screening factor, all are equal under the law. This special concept of freedom isn’t known or practiced outside the USA, that’s how and why 200 different cultures became represented there; that’s why 200 different cultures dreamed and rushed there, including my own Greek ancestors.

And so did Italians, Polish, Brazilains, Chinese, Vietnamese, Russian, Pakistani, Indian, Saudi, Israeli and the rest. In USA, Jews banded together, the same way Chinese stereotypically band together wherever they go. Jews know each other, read Jewish news, practice Jewish language and holidays—under their right to do so. They too became “average Americans.” Jews in USA sought higher education and professional careers, worked hard and largely became wealthy. These are the Jews that average Americans primarily know. They also used their strength together, as a group, to raise their voice and agenda to government. Each ethnic group did the same for their own agendas until, today, the ethnic noise became deafening.

As a President, you can already see the job of appeasing 200 cultures is nearly impossible. Presidents practically by design have to become populist thinkers or fail. At the same time, the cultures also realized that “the squeaky wheel gets the grease” and so the loudest cultures got the greatest attention. Jews are such a group, and not wanting their brethren around the world to fail or perish, sought help to protect them. But USA itself had no special reason to single out a group for special privilege and so the Jews, to insure better chances for success, used their growing power to directly influence governmental policy through government lobbying, campaign contributions and the gaining of political office. (Yes, anyone can become a Congressman or Senator)

The support of Israel in the old days, 1948, came by way of complicated international processes and in modern times by way of direct influence upon the government by American Jews. In exchange for support, US gained an ally in the Middle East from which point USA believed that its own interests could be protected and expanded, even.

But nothing in the above meant that Jews in America were loved or hated by other Americans. (After all, Americans are the same as anyone, they wake up in the morning and go to work in jobs the same as yours). However, other so-called average Americans began to take exception to the progress of American Jews and came to wonder why so much attention and effort was being put forth on their behalf. In this sense, Jews and Israel began to be questioned and disliked, some of that dislike stemming from envy and some from the reality of the dollars expended—the average American does not want to support Israel to the exclusion of themselves or others and why should they? Average Americans may not fully understand Muslim-Christian-Judai relations but they do find great ugliness in the noise. So who in USA supports Israel? American Jews support Israel and the other 99.9% of average Americans do not.

Now we can answer the questions. What does the average American think of Jews? Not much. What do American Jews think of America? Quite a lot. Jews have every reason to think the good ‘ole USA is the greatest place on earth.

But there is something else you might not know. Jews are not created equal. Far more American Jews than the kind you talk about are Democrat, despise Bush/Republicans and never did support Israel. Shocked? What should surprise you, and it does me, is that so few people within this group can carry so much weight and it happened because everyone else was asleep. And this group dislikes and criticizes the other Jews who they believe have forsaken their own people. The only comparison I can make here to help you understand this is that a coverless Muslim woman in KL might be criticized by another Muslim for not wearing a tudung. Its like that.

Though I have the strong urge at this moment to digress into tangents like the Crisis, I will resist and synopsize this entry. The average American doesn’t support Israel or Jewish causes, they don’t understand them. Americans are more concerned about how to pay for groceries. They worry about their kids, their monthly payments, their taxes, what’s on TV tonight, whether or not they should take a vacation this year, the health of their parents, the future of their jobs. They don’t know about world events or histories of conflicts as much as they should, they are confused by them. They read something in the paper about this or that cause or problem and as long as it doesn’t involve them directly, they pass and move on to other topics. They know or believe that to really know what exactly is going on will involve much energy and focus and because they believe its very hard to uncover the true truth, the pressures of everyday living and fundamental survival take precedent.

The average American didn’t really understand the history of USA foreign policy events that may have contributed heavily to 911, but they did understand fully the 911 event itself. They didn’t know why we were attacked, only that we were and were greatly angered by it, hence support for retaliation in Afghanistan.

People in this blog assume a lot about Americans, their ways and thinking, and believe we each sit up at night scheming of ways to destroy the world for our own gain. This could not be further from the truth. Yes, among certain quarters, yes there are complex politics, lies, stealth, dealmaking, spying, anything and everything, but not as a whole or group. On the contrary, as a group we abhor killing, are disgusted by dirty dealing and dirty politics and accept others and diversity of thinking and ways that have contributed to the growth of USA in the positive sense. It is precisely this way of thinking that allowed, for example, a Malay-Muslim to come to USA years ago, educate himself, become a well-known architect and live happily ever-after among other average Americans. That’s America. But when people say “the hateful Americans,” who are they talking about—Bush family or the 20 million Mexicans; Donald Rumsfeld’s co-workers or the 8 million Muslim; or Hindus or Buddhists or the 90-year old blind black man dying in a hospice ward?

911 was the first time average Americans really woke up and also became quite scared and fearful of the Muslim world. In the narrowest sense the anger was well-justified, there was a mean attack. But since it is a fault of we Americans to stay asleep until we are woken up and then awake angrily, we are not acutely aware of how our actions and roles affect others; we, as plain people, are aware we have a role but always not what it should be. All we know is that when we sense something is wrong, for example after government takes what we see as wrong actions or courses, we act, hence electing Obama instead of McCain and trust them, once again, to do the right thing. But in the broader sense most likely our anger it is not justified. After all, in my greatest exposure to Islam via my time in your country, the Malaysian-Muslims who I can count as brothers are themselves good humans and citizens. Indeed, we together enlighten and we hold no grudges towards each other at all. That is correct and its my hope that all us can find bridges to each other, accept our differences and learn all we can. It is certainly a path to happy and righteous living.

All this isn’t to say Americans are ignorant or uninformed totally. The population runs the gamut of brilliant achievers, idiots, fools, brainy miracle-workers, informed right-thinkers and pushy morons. Some are in the light, some are in the dark; some wish they were in the light, some wish they were in the dark. If you don’t like it, there is no need to attack it, go change it. That’s what America is, countless immigrants constantly changing the face of the place. You can too.

However, that might prove difficult at the moment. Following 911, Bush installed The Patriot Act, thus curtailing most of our civil rights, suspending most of our Constitution and, among other things, making it illegal to protest the Iraq conflict. There is no freedom of the press or freedom to congregate. Average Americans have been abandoned and left to drift in the processes of government. At this time, Im not sure how we will re-gain our rights but the Act is also responsible for the difficulty foreigners have in traveling to USA, the high visa fees and even why I have much trouble traveling in my own country where I am routinely profiled as a terrorist. There is interest or irony in the fact that our government knew recent events would wake us up and then immediately took steps to squelch all protest. You can google the Act and its many discussions.

But to the goal of better living I leave you with this P.S. When an Arab friend recounted his first time to USA 25 years ago, he said amusingly, “I didn’t know to give a blow or take a blow.” That’s right. And I remembered him very well that day when I came down from KLIA the first time and so I put out my hand to your country and I said, “Hello, apa khabar?” That’s how we start. We should ask honest questions of each other to which we should expect honest answers. From that we grow into what we can become.

THANK YOU.

Thank you for what? Thank you for taking your time all these years to engage me inquisitively and as an individual, not a pre-judged group, whether at a train stop, mamak, market or doctors office. Its very appreciated. Your social skills exceed mine. What comes naturally to you must be painfully constructed by shy Americans like me.

Tun,

I read a frontpage article in one of the freelondonpaper on the London Underground last week about the BBC and SkyNews for refusing to air an ad for aid campaign to raise funds for the Palestinians (mainly women and children) and also to rebuild the country fearing being labeled as being biased towards the war (towards Israelis). This caused a huge controversy within the media circle, and the British public (including Politicians and Celebrities). They stated that they would like to remain impartial and unprejudiced quoting that if it happened to Israel, they would still not run ad campaigns - BULLSH*T!

I've been in the UK since high school and I've seen ads for almost many different kinds of aid campaigns; from animal cruelty to abused children to extreme poverty to war refugees--which DOES show graphical images/footages (as a way to make people cry hence make the donation)--why would the Palestinians be any different?

It seems like media companies to give these sort of statements, they're indirectly admitting that they're being biased.

Your comments, please.

Thanks and regards,

Shukor

Media biases happened everywhere even in the united state the country of freedom, for example fox news is well knowned as pro-democratic. even in malaysia we have glc controlled paper served their own interests too.. wasnt this the main reason Tun started chedet.com then chedet.cc?

Funny, off-beat news

Dear Tun,

I look forward to see your posting on Edorgan (Turkey PM) on his recent outburst against Israeli PM during World Economic Forum in Davos. Sadly during that forum, Simon Peres has received much applauded after he emotionally explained the rationality of killing 1200 Palestinian. He was so sad and responded immediately by claiming Simon Peres as killer in front of stupid capitalist and Jewish controlled media.

We need this kind of leader in Muslim countries same as you are.

BUSTANUL BITARI BEY

I do agree on this issue as many country or even government may want some sort of control over media just to make sure the society will be well in order. The same situation happen in Malaysia too. To certain extend it may be good but it will be depending on the maturity of the society itself. Some society will respond to a news with open mind and will seek to understand it before making any drastic action. But to some society, it will respond to a certain news with full 'emotion' and if the agenda is being manipulated by certain people for his own purpose, it will create certain level disturbances in the society.

I believe everyone do want to live in a harmony and peaceful society. I do hope GOD will bless those 'leaders' in whatever way to create and sustain world peace.

Tun,
Ruling the world by proxy is a subjective term. Here in Malaysia we also have that. There are quite a number of politicians even those within the rank and file of institutions that only maneuver for their own good at the expense of public good. Alot of wastage and corruption occured and much lives are lost in goodwill and knowledge capital terms.

If humans are truly God fearing (strange that the Children of God are not) the world would have been a better place, be it in Gaza or here in dear Malaysia.

Dear Sir,

May I foremost inform you that you are my mentor. Your honest, and often brutal, views of the Jews have often attracted criticisms, but you have also opened the mind of the thousands who read your columns. Although I am also disheartened by the skewed reporting of the Palestinian tragedy, I have hope that as more people read about it, through columns like yours, opinions will change. Maybe not in the governments, but in the streets. I live in Los Angeles, and I saw the protest outside the Isreali embassy here. I was moved when I saw that the protestors of the incursions were not only Muslims, Christians, but also Jews. That gave me hope, renewed hope of the human spirit.

Salam utk Tun..
Satu dunia tahu betapa kejamnya perbuatan yahudi.

Dear Tun,

It's my first writing to you.

There are a lot talks of suppression at various part in the world. What is you comment on A Kugan case.

Thank you & long live Dear Tun.

Tun,

Semuga sihat sentiasa.

Kesiannya.....

Salam Tun,

To Sans, Hairul and alike,
There's so much hatred in you guys and it shows.

Talking about free press.
The PR states governments and leaders clearly against it. They're doing it to Utusan Malaysia.

Tun,

Kerajaan dan UMNO buat kesilapan besar apabila melantik Dato' Tarmuzi Aziz, bekas Pengerusi MPM untuk jawatan KP DBP mulai 3 Feb ini - Pak Dharma.

Salam Tun,

What is more important is our action.

Kami masih lagi menagih pemimpin hebat seperti TUN.

Salam Tun,

The United States & the Great Britain are synonymous to us. Their attitude are the same. It is no difference who is their president they elect, their gameplan is still the same as long there are so called Zionist into play... Look at the US President and The GB Prime Minister until now nothing has changed for the Palestinian People. No Palestine nation has been established...
And look what the Arab nations are doing? Just look & see and sponsor millitants to stir terrorist act. In the end who gets the cane, the people suffers. I think we should do something as Great Muslim Nations if we are United we can voice our concern and bring them hard on the table of negotiation...

Salam TUN...
ya it's true... it just like nothing happen to them... no wonder their people did not know anything about how cruel Israel towards Palestine. always bias... love you TUN... thank you so much... May ALLAH BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY... you always be my role model and idol... i adore your courage and your mission also vision about Malaysia and Malays... please take a good care of yourself and your wife... (",)

Assalamualaikum Tun,

I agreed 100% with you. Medias in the western world are proxies working for the zionist communities even their head of states too are servants for the government of isreal.

What bias laws apply on to other poor nations don't apply to them including embargoes, tariffs and all sorts of "crab" laws. They don't practice what they preached. The best example is how their media is bias towards Zimbabwe and on the other hand they don't report about the killing of the people in Gaza by the terrorist military government of isreal.

Once again i salute you Tun, "Hidup Tun Dr Mahathir and may Allah bless us all in the hope of bringing justice and peace for all". Aminnn.......

"Don't cry on Gaza"
Dear Tun,
The Gaza's predicament makes me think about ourselves - the Malaysian Muslim. We can't blame the jews, the US and britain or any other non-muslim countries for the slaughtering. we must blame ourselves, become of our ignorance in arrogance (dalam bahasa melayu..bodoh sombong). Tun, why I say this because it is related to your policy for students to learn mathematic and science in english. Indeed it is a futurictic and visionary policy. I dont what to elaborate further on this, as I'am going to write a book on why it is paramountly important to learn both subjects in English. I hope the plight of the Gazanians will open the eyes of the Muslim Malay (ignorance and arrogance) who oppose and critise such a visionary policy. In succint, we need science and technology to protect (not to fight) ourselves againts the barbaric people. And as per now, the knowledge of science and technology, greatly can be found in this colonial language an not in our honourable mother tonque. It is sad, but it is a reality.

YABhg Tun,

Their press goes through a different rating process...
and they set their own criteria as well...

Dear Tun,
Welcome back to Malaysia. If I knew you were going to London I would have given you the few pences i've save in a jar. What you would do with it you might have ask.....well you could throw them in front of a running double decker bus, that would have gotten rid of a few Jews.

The Jews are so powerful now that there's nothing the white christian can do to stop them. A good example is Mel Gibson, a popular hollywood actor, where is he now? when was the last time we heard of him? nobody knows. His Crime was he uttered the unthinkable when he was caught drunk driving. He blamed the Jews for the trouble around the world. So now he's history.

As for the fate of the Jews, as soon as the White Christians realized they were taken for a fool, a second round of Holocaust is coming.

Salam Tun,

Saya rasa kita semua nie kena tipu saja dengan Yahudi dari A sampai Z...

Kalau Tun baca buku, Tun bagi lah komen... nak jugak dengar komen Tun...

p/s: Saya sekarang tengah baca "Sejarah Pemikiran 2" pulak.

Dear chedet,

I thought papers like the Guardian is pretty fair in its reporting of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. I tend to agree with sans, albeit without his anti-anti semitic rant, that the papers may have shifted its attention to the handling of the economic crisis. And even in Malaysia we saw people like Najib being more concerned about the by-election, and Abdullah being busy with his business tour of the calmer part of the middle east.

my 2 sen.

Dear Tun,
The truth is every Israeli Prime Minister has got every American President and every British Premier by the leash. The equivalent Malay proverb is "Seperti kerbau dicucuk hidungnya".

Of course the media in the West is owned by the Jews.

The Jews regard the Palestinians as less than human. So they deserve to be brutalised, murdered and massacred. And of course all these atrocities do not deserve any mention, anywhere at all.

Salam Tun,

There is no press freedom in Britain (including USA) 25 years ago, they are the same after 25 years later. No change at all!!!! They say that Israel is controlling the world economy, I believe that they are lying. Britain (including USA) press media are saturated (terlalu tua) and they are protecting their self interest (cari makan, Tun). In order to survive, they have to bully Asia because majority of their people thought that Asia is at par with Africa, except the 4 little Asia dragons. These little dragons are not little any more(except Singapore), Hong Kong and Taiwan are turning back to their motherland China, Japan is concentrating her economy directly with Asia. Only Singapore (the tiniest dragon) will still preferred to be the watchdog to Israel. Yes, I strongly believe that they are afraid to admit that Asia is now challenging Israel economy, they are afraid, Tun!!!

Dear YAA Tun,

The time has come for the OIC to look for a solution to the Paleatinian Crisis based on a One State Solution based on a modified version of what brought white rule to an end in South Africa.

Tun yg saya kagumi

I live in Saudi Arabia and totally agree with what you published. Just finish reading front page article on Arabnews on your Riyadh summit
"Mahathir calls for rebuilding of global financial system"
Ghazanfar Ali Khan | Arab News

All my Arab friends/neighbours only recognise "Mahathir" as the great Islamic leader from Malaysia. They even said their King of Saudi Arabia/Princes/Princess are just an American puppet in the middle east. That is why you see the Middle East Summit always failed to tackle issue with regard to Israel because the so called Islamic leader from Saudi Arabia/Egypt will never want to pressure the American. The economy of these two countries relied so much on the technology from America.

One other thing to point out that Singapore will be the Israel of South East Asia in near future. Please take necessary steps before another "GAZA of SEA" come close to Malaysia.

Sedarlah orang MELAYU!

I have every "confidence" that Pak Lah will force OIC,NAM,Latin Countries and Arab League to sit down and pass a resolution to halt any trade with the US/Israel..Pak Lah has the charisma, intellegence and the support of his son in law...hahaha

For a country that advocates fairness and equality, your negative stance towards suffering Palestinians only shows that u r not better than 'primitive' people like us..I believe most Brits doesnt condone what is happening in Gaza

(I love jew,try live with the palestinian n u'll know their feeling)..Uncle Dee posted a comment by Adolf Hitler;Hitler must have read the Jew's history...hmmmm

Lets not insist that they report about us anymore.
Lets whats happened to our Palestinians brothers, sisters and especially their childrens be the focus point, a start for new era of muslims.
Let them limit their news, go on, insist us to be - the terrorist, poor, not united and of course, go on, continue to report yourselves to be the only greatest citizen of the world.
We should stop wanting to be like them or in awe of them.
We will survive simply, because islam is moderate. If we position ourselve to that, we focus better and have ample space to breath and think and make that changes to leap into what we were once.We have been that road before, its not hard, we just need to want it only - unite first.
We have been omitted from their reporting at their whims and fancies. We could say that their news are incomplete and because of that, they are not the ultimate, they don't offer up to date news, so why only trust on them to be our news provider - we too can pick and choose.
Infact, we could consider/insist that every bad things that they have written and told about us as null and void.Failing to report when they are capable means they are not credible. We should also questions their sources.
Businesses that limits their market to amongst themselves only, are not truly successful businesses.Same goes for news agencies who picks and chooses what to and not to report.
Time to have our own news!
One world leader said, we, muslims countries, majorities are poor.
Huh, are we, really?
Yes, we are, but if we unite we have strength to be the richest.
All of us pay zakat, thats a lot of money. Manage it well, ensure that the person who receives it today will in turn has the chance to give away to others.
Time to have our own world bank - a strong muslim chamber of commerce!
We have great leaders and achievers.Identify and gather all of them and make a plan to build a better muslim world.
All of us are khalifah, don't only wait for our leaders, let them do their work like they must.Be wary of leaders [inclusive our own]who whisper words that perpetuate hate towards muslims and encourages hates and disunity amongst muslims.Reject these kind of leaders.Put them in a corner, facing the wall, let them play by themselves. We don't need them, they will only make us loose focus. Support those that subscribe to unity - our unity first.Never attempt to cuts us into bits and pieces by branding each other kafir, who says a muslim cannot be occupants of hell, only kafir - let only Allah be the judge to that.We are too small to make that decision.
Focus to be what we were once, first! We use to be a lot of great things.
In Malaysia, Tun often tells us what great muslims we once were.
We can be that again.
Knowledge, knowledge, knowledge, knowledge, don't reject knowledge, take it, whatever size or shape. Our iman and taqwa will guide us to do the right things.
The computer doesnt work without a zero.Who invented the number zero?
Tell our children our success stories. Make it known to them.Give them pride, make it easier for them.
Don't wait, do it.
Assalamualaikum Tun berdua.

...and if Hitler could annihilate the whole Jewish race, what makes you so sure that he would not annihilate other races including his own race just to be the superpower ? But the strange thing is that each time one Middle Eastern person seeks asylum, he would turn to the West for help. There are so many asylum seekers in the U.S., U.K., Australia as compared to other countries like Malaysia. Why can't they have a new life in another Middle Eastern country ? Or another Islamic country ? Not only that, they can find a new life in this Western country. The Malaysia's media is a carbon copy of the British media or other country's media which is being one sided and personal in reporting any news. In order to be a genuine peace maker, one has to be neutral and listen to both sides of the story. Malaysia is often known as a peacemaking country and therefore it should not take side, no matter how personal the issue can get to be. That is professional management of a conflict.

Akum semua,

Hanya ingin memperbetulkan kenyataan Sdr Azam Alias( yg mula-mula memberi komen) :

Magic Number - 6 Million

Jewish prophecies in the Torah require that 6 million Jews must "vanish" before the state of Israel can be formed. "You shall return minus 6 million." That's why Tom Segev, an Israeli historian, declared that the "6 million" is an attempt to transform the Holocaust story into state religion. Those six million, according to prophecy, had to disappear in "burning ovens", which the judicial version of the Holocaust now authenticates. As a matter of fact, Robert B. Goldmann writes: ". . . without the Holocaust, there would be no Jewish State." A simple consequence: Given six million Jews gassed at Auschwitz who ended up in the "burning ovens" (the Greek word holocaust means burned offerings), therefore, the prophecies have now been "fulfilled" and Israel can become a "legitimate state".

I am not sure about UK, but I can tell you that there's news about Israel/Palestine conflicts almost on a regular basis, even on local papers. How do I know? Because I live here and am witnessing it.

Your hatred towards western people is blinding you from making an objective judgement. You are a very dangerous person, spreading lies in the public. Funny thing is there are people actually believing you.

May god/allah have mercy on you...

Salam,

Fikir-fikirkanlahh.....

I can only see that we Malaysians are as bias as UK/USA in our comment/opinion especially we do not have any clue what is happenning over there and the information we have now is also through our media. So whose media is right or wrong? Just because we are muslim our media is right? I wonder how many of those that given strong comment here actually were in Palastine or know the truth. Anyone?

Dear Tun,

Freedom of the press is exactly what it is - Freedom of the editorial team & the owners TO PRINT what they think fit.

We had been programmed since young to believe what we read in the papers. Well now we know better than to trust the papers.

What they think fit to be printed can have many perspectives, such as;

1) The paper sales figures
2) Advancing their world view
3) Pandering to popular culture
4) National/Party interest
5) Winning elections
6) Getting advertisers revenue
7) and such other reasons which look at truth and reality with tinted glasses, or as a medium, as it suits the above objectives.

That is why the new generation and now the older people would rather go to the internet for information.

At least the net do not purport to be telling the truth - but allow us make our own judgements from the many sites and views.

Now; the NET is where true press freedom exist. The responsibility in on ourselves to look for the various views and perspectives to make our own conclusions.

Welcome to the new FREE PRESS - the internet.

I note that both BBC and Sky have refused to carry the appeal for humanitarian aid to Gaza. Would you use your influence with the owners of Astro to unbundle their news channels to allow Malaysians to exercise their choice? As things now stand, we have no choice but to subscribe to all the news channels. I would like to signal my displeasure by unsubscribing the BBC and CNN but can't do that. I think that is a more practical boycott than that suggested by you. And it can have an impact as Malaysia is one of the major English-language news markets in the region.

Additionally, I'm sure you have noticed that almost all Malaysian hotels carrying Astro news channels do not provide al-Jazeera. You may have your own quarrels with al-Jazeera, but I'm sure you will agree that their coverage of Gaza has been exemplary, some times maybe even going overboard to be balanced. Now will you use your influence to demand that Malaysian hotels provide al-Jazeera?

Chris,
It appears to me that you are so shallow in history lessons. I think you need to know a little history why Hamas fire rockets to Israel. The areas where rockets are fired into belonged to Gazans. Moreover, although Israel withdrew from Gaza, they continue to control Gazans in all aspects of their lives. That's an occupation by all definitions! Desperate people call for disperate measures.

Read this from Robert Fisk - from The Independent UK. You would understand why Hamas did what they did.

Robert Fisk: Why bombing Ashkelon is the most tragic irony

Tuesday, 30 December 2008

How easy it is to snap off the history of the Palestinians, to delete the narrative of their tragedy, to avoid a grotesque irony about Gaza which – in any other conflict – journalists would be writing about in their first reports: that the original, legal owners of the Israeli land on which Hamas rockets are detonating live in Gaza.

That is why Gaza exists: because the Palestinians who lived in Ashkelon and the fields around it – Askalaan in Arabic – were dispossessed from their lands in 1948 when Israel was created and ended up on the beaches of Gaza. They – or their children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren – are among the one and a half million Palestinian refugees crammed into the cesspool of Gaza, 80 per cent of whose families once lived in what is now Israel. This, historically, is the real story: most of the people of Gaza don't come from Gaza.

The rest as follows:

Zionist Massacre in Gaza
January 2008

http://www.nkusa.org/activities/Statements/20080219_nasralla.cfm

Wassalaam

salah siapa... bangsa Arab tak pernah mahu bersatu. masing-masing nak menjaga poket sendiri..

Takkan orang kafir laknatullah kut..

tepuk dada tanya selera..

Westerners are mostly hyprocrites and yet some of our people respect them membuta tuli.

Memang jelas, Israel rule the world by proxy.

hmmm...maybe the brits were not updated with the latest news in gaza, have obsolete computers and limited media coverage...no wonder you advocated the 'buy british last' policy..bravado Tun, very far sighted (i wish i have the same vision..)...

Dr.M,

I am afraid you are right in this sense. BBC has very little coverage on the war in Gaza and this is what I read on their front website today:

An Israeli soldier has been killed and three others injured in an attack on their patrol near the border with Gaza.

"Israel's army said an explosive device was detonated next to the patrol.

Israeli troops crossed into Gaza as helicopters hovered overhead firing machine guns. One Palestinian has been killed, Gaza medics said.

The Israeli death is the first since Hamas, which controls Gaza, and Israel declared ceasefires after a three-week Israeli offensive against Gaza.

One Israeli officer was badly wounded in the explosion and the other soldiers were lightly wounded, an army spokesman said.

No Palestinian militant group has said it carried out the attack."

One Israeli soldier killed, istead of 100,000 Palestinian civilians, over the past weeks is what making the headlines in the news. One. Not 100,000.

One.

Dear Tun,

I would wish that we try to buy "advertisement space" in the UK and the US media - television and papers, and observe how they handle our requests.

If they allow us to put our advertisement in their media, then we could put in our views to the people of these nations.
If not then we could shout out about the double standards in their "freedom of speech"

rosdan

.

Tun

Again; this is what i called biasness justified. Tun you should also glad that the UK papers did not report so much on what has happening in our country too. Police brutality, ISA detention camp and few rotten things happening in our country. Definately i would not like to have that sort that news being reported outside.

If there was; before i condemn their "biasness", i would first check the authencity of the news.

Certainly we have many news in Malaysia; that may not need further checks. Well we cannot expect a court judgement then report a case can we? They are reporting the news; weather you want to believe or not that is your own problem , in their eyes and perception, just like how we see Palestine in our own lenses. I admire that you are so serious about Palestine issue; but sometimes are the ppl in Mid East themselves are taking our fight seriously? (details needed here).

You should also know that inspite of the London bombing few years back, they did not tell the Pakis to go back. Infact UK has been good place for asylum seeking nationalities.

Tun; your help is needed more in Malaysia than Palestine. By this way, i am not indicating that war is permissible. But our issue in our own circle of influence in our homeland presses us more than the ones outside.

For those who say, dont disturb Tun he is retired, well fine i will step commenting hereinafter. Tun, then pls blog something else but not politics or war, Malaysia or world. Lets talk about flowers pots, bonzai trees and buns

Salam ALaikom Tun n Tun,
and prayers for peace to the people in GAZA

I've been reading more than half way through this book, Titled "PAINTING ISLAM AS THE NEW ENEMY" Globalisation & Capitalism in Crisis, bY Abdulhay Y. Zalloum. he outlines the tactics and steps taken by Zionist to implement their ambitions of a Greater Israel. Something which we had always known but not knowing how it was done. Hope this book will help us realise our folly and unite.

Salam Ayahanda Tun. Mohon di-izinkan sikit ruang. T Kasih.

Ok, I won't be keeping you from more texting to Hitler and Stalin (but you be sure to keep us posted on any new text here ok?), so I share this joke:

"Three women - a German, a Jew and a Polack - all gave birth to seven pound baby boys at the same time. The nurses got the babies mixed up somehow and couldn't tell which baby belonged to which mother. After an hour of mass confusion the father of the German baby decided he would settle the problem. He walked into the nursery and lined up the three infants in a row. He then clicked his heels, raised his arm in a salute and shouted, "Heil Hitler!"
The German baby snapped to attention, the Jewish baby shit it's pants and the polish baby played in it!"

Salam kasih dan hormat Ayahanda Tun. The whole lot has always been Kosher with the BBC and CNN and even Yahoo got stiff words to quit on the Gaza news just a couple of days before Bush spilt the White House. And by that time Bush was already not running the US government and neither was Obama yet. But it was Olmert running the US government from Tel Aviv (with Wolfowitz in DC) on cheap international IDD call rates and it was a very rare and brief moment for the free world to observe that long hidden naked truth.

But let’s glance at our own local press here Sir. And aptly I must first congratulate the Editor of Utusan Malaysia for highlighting the extremely important news in his "Berita Utama" section. And this ignorant crippling world was spared yet another blow when the theft stops at only three pair of shoes. Had it been four or five, Obama would have to cut short his White House honeymoon and OPEC would have to summon up the OIC to sit and really see things through. But we are exceptionally lucky, as the thief only took three. Tun, that news is important to all of us and I must praise that local news editor for his media astuteness in only giving us what’s important. Only the important news from them. There we go; our own media is setting the global standards here. And it’s a proud moment for Utusan Malaysia no doubt.

P.S: Tun, I heard that PM Abdullah has taken ill? I pray for his speedy well being so that there would be no delay to the March arrangement. Or better still, lets all pray for Abdullah’s good health and for that March thingy to be in early February. And I also pray for YB Khairy’s well being and that vintage deity Kali something healthiness too (I must write like a Hare Krishna at the very mention of that deity. Please do excuse me Tun.)

Assalamualaikum Tun and all readers,
The media are so controlled by the Jews that the BBC and SKY news even ban emergency appeal for GAZA. They news rep can give whatever reason they wish, but I find it disgusting anyhow. Over 1300 people including children killed and they talk about media being unbias or neutral. Its madness.

MPs slam BBC and Sky over Gaza snub

More than 100 MPs have signed an early day motion criticising the BBC and Sky News for refusing to show an emergency appeal for Gaza. Skip related content
Related photos / videos MPs slam BBC and Sky over Gaza snub Terrestrial broadcasters ITV, Channel 4 and Five have shown the televised appeal, made by the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC).

The refusal of the BBC and Sky News led to protests outside Broadcasting House where demonstrators burned their television licences and occupied the buildings reception until they were removed by police.

Richard Burden, the Labour MP who tabled the motion, said 112 MPs have signed it so far.

The motion rejects the "unconvincing and incoherent" justifications given by the BBC and Sky.

Mr Burden said: "The fact that well over 100 MPs from different parties have signed this Commons motion shows the breadth of concern about the position which the BBC and Sky are taking.

"The arguments that BBC managers have been putting forward in defence of their refusal to screen this appeal have shown themselves to be even more unconvincing and contradictory as time has gone on."

Praising broadcasters who decided to show the appeal, he went on: "The needs of a child traumatised by war in Gaza are no more or less important than those of a traumatised child in another war zone."

BBC director general Mark Thompson said the decision not to broadcast the appeal was "absolutely" in line with the corporation's broader approach to impartiality and appeals.

And John Ryley, head of Sky News, said "absolute impartiality" was fundamental to their approach.

Salam Tun,

Tun, nothing done by the west shocks me anymore and you shouldnt be too.

The truths are only for those who seek them because it bothers them to be in darkness for so long. Do not bother to bring the truths to those whose minds and hearts are already closed shut like some of the commentators in your blog who blamed the victim for the crime done to them. It is like saying if the women are not dressing so sexy, they will be safe from rape. If Hamas did not fire those rockets, Israel wouldnt have attacked them that way. They failed to search for the historical events that led to that firing of rockets which was Israel's provocative attack in Nov 2008.

In this world, there will be bad people and good people, that is a fact. People are not born bad, they were just influenced by the beliefs they practice or the people around them. God will show the true path to those He wishes, and to those who ignored the truths are those condemned for eternity.

The arrogance and cruelness of the Israelites are mentioned all over the Al-Quran, and the existence of Dajjal (a people who only see with one eye meaning only see one side of the truth)who is the enemy of Islam is also mentioned in the Al-Quran. The coming of Yakjuk and Maqjuk - two brothers or races that bring destruction to the world is also foretold in the Al-Quran.

It is not surprising how America and Britain (brothers of Anglo-Saxon descent) who amongst then two and collaboration with Israel have brought more destructions combined on this earth more than any other nations in the last century.

We Muslims cannot make them like us if they dont want to, they may be nice in front of us but behind us they plan mischevious things. We must not waste time to appeal to them as their hearts have turned black and failed to see the truths.

It is time for us to reunite and become strong as an Ummah, ignore petty things that devide us, we must rebuild again our civilisation throught he mastery of knowledge, strengthen our defences through our own indegineous weaponary like Iran and Pakistan, we must make them think twice and respect Islamic countries and Muslims before they even think of firing a single bullet at us, we must be strong again, inshallah we will succed.

Many empires have come and gone, from the great Alexander, to Genghiz Khan, Shi Huang Ti, Egyptian Kingdom, British Empire,Portugese, Spanish and even Ottoman Empire and USSR, the lesson to be learnt everyone of us will meet our ending, only God shall remain.

The time for the Israelis and the two brothers (America and Britain)who support them to meet their end shall come, it is just a matter of time.

Then, eternal peace shall prevail on this earth.

Assalamualaikum Tun,

Is condemning Israeli's brutalities on the killings of babies, children and women, can be called as anti-semitic? Who invented this word anyway?

Whether it is in anybody's front page news, middle page news, back page news, corner page news or sideline page news, makes no difference. They are still in our news and will always be. Despite the truce, news on the pains and sufferings of those still alive or barely alive are pouring in from our own brave reporters. We Malaysians are up-to date with international news. Are you too?..referring to those who so proudly claim to live in US or GB or Europe who preach freedom of the Press and freedom of Speach?

Anyway what gives you the notion that death and destruction is reduced after the truce? The people of Gaza are dying a slow and painful death caused by the illegal chemical bombs and cluster bombs of Israel with the go-ahead from US. Don't you know that! The poisonous chemical are eating up their bodies. Israel purposely want to wipe out the entire population in Palestine and its economy.

Can you deny this? Tell the world that it is right to kill babies, little children and women! Better still, tell that to your baby, your children and wife (or husband)!

Remember the killings in My Lai, Hiroshima, Nagasaki? Aren't they dying slowly but surely or crippled for life from the chemical weapons and the radiation of the bombs! Isn't that too is destruction..destruction of the human race that is not up to your liking! Don't purify yourselves with the blood of the babies, the children and women around the entire world!

And don't you dare say that, Tun and us around the world, when raising issues and true facts on the inhumane killings and unfair treatments and violent invasions into the countries that are not with you as anti-semitic! The truth is in front of you.

So the world is in recession. You still have your two hands and two feet and healthy bodies to work and your great government still has the means and money to help and feed you. Think of those you have maimed and crippled and their breadwinners you have so abruptly taken away from them! Don't give your help or money if you don't want to...just stop for a moment and think how it would be like if you are them...or you just simply feel disgusted picturing them in your saintly head! Nothing on the aftermath of the war, physically, traumatically and psychologically, is relevant to you or your papers. Your are just BORN SELFISH HYPOCRITES!

Tun, I'm expressing myself on comments made by Mr By sans on Jan 26.
That person must be out of this world and out-dated. Just wish he would be more human and feed himself with true facts and recent international news from responsible sources. Maybe out of curiosity, he invaded Chedet.

Take care Tun and May Allah Look Upon You Always.

What moral rights do we have to criticise other countries when our BN leaders do not even have the will to provide justice to our own minorities ?

The number of deaths in our police cells speak for itself.

salam Tun,

to I love jews and Prabakaran Gopalakrishnan,

for your info,THE JEWISH REGIME DELIBERATELY BROKE THE CURRENT CEASEFIRE BY INVADING GAZA IN SEARCH OF HAMAS MILITANTS.THIS LED TO HAMAS RETALIATION WITH ROCKET ATTACKS.

This is a perfect example of western media manipulations which you guys fell victim to.Some news such as rocket attacks will be blown out of proportions and other news which do not fit their agendas will be consigned to mere footnotes.

Once again do yourselves a favour,go and read 'the Gaza Massacre in Perspective' by Prof. Dr. Chandra Muzaffar.

THE JEW HAVE BEEN DISCRIMINATED,KILLED AND BITTERLY HATED BY THE CHRISTIANS THROUGHOUT HISTORY AND ONLY FOUND GOOD TREATMENT AND SAFE REFUGE UNDER MUSLIM RULERS.TRY TO PROVE ME WRONG!

So to I love jews,do not try to quote from sources about the evils of being Muslim.I assure you I can do better in proving otherwise.I can also quote from many of your famous fellow Christians.

WANNA TRY YOUR LUCK?
DO YOU FEEL LUCKY,PUNK?

Jeng3

Sorry if I'm hurting Non Muslim's feeling, but you don't know what are you talking about Palestine and Gaza Issues. It is about land and religion. Land was originally belong to Palestine people which is Muslim but was taken away/rob/confisticated by Israel/Jewish with help from UN/PBB and British and USA. This people has killed innocent people of Palestine for generations and that will continue until end of the world. So, we put in simple way, if somebody come and kill our whole family..take or land, do you think we will just sit back and say everyhing is OK?..No brain man know the answer unless we are coward enough to say.."as long as i'm alive..i'm o.k wth that".. so for Mr. Prabagaran Gopalakrishnan, YOU ARE SO STUPID AND YOU DON'T BELONG TO MALAYSIA...AND TO MR CRIS, YOU SHOULD LEARN HISTORY AND KNOW YOUR ROOT. AND YOU DON'T HAVE RIGHT TO TELL WHAT GAZA PEOPLE WANT AS THEIR LEADER. IF THEY WANT HAMAS, WHAT WRONG WTH THAT? Can we say to American people not to select OBAMA? THE TRUTH IS, MUSLIM/ISLAM IS ENEMY TO ISRAEL/JEWISH..THAT FOR SURE. DO YOU THINK HITLER KILL JEWISH FOR NO REASON? IF YOU DON'T KNOW, LET ME TELL YOU..JEWISH PEOPLE IS THE WORST MANKIND IN THIS WORLD. THEY CAN'T BE TRUSTED. THEY ALWAYS STAB YOUR BACK. AND YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT.

Every countries in this world have a right to defend himself. Palestine is entitled to have a weapon. Iran have a right to have a nuclear technology. Singapore don't have a right to deny us a nuclear weapon if we able to have it. If Israel can have high tech weapon to go war, what wrong with Hamas to have a rocket.

Dear Innocent,

I do agreed with your opinion on the media has aggravated hatred among communities in Malaysia. It was clearly irresponsible attitude by Malaysian media. If we want to improve racial and religious harmony, we cannot posting such a irresponsible post in local media. We already in midst of fragile racial and religious tension and would not accepted another provocation by the media and politician.

What the hell is the meaning of so called freedom press if we have to scarifies racial and religious harmony. Government should step up to avoid this, be more proactive rather than let the things happen then cure.

BUSTANUL BISTARI BEY

Tabik Tun,

I am fully agree with almost all what you said in your blog. I never put up any comment in here but I am your faithfull folower. Everyday when I get connected to internet, your blog is the first page that I open. All your idea was brilliant. The only thing make my finger move to type some comment was when I read comment from "Falcon" which was "umat islam tidak perlu terkejut dengan sikap berat sebelah orang bukan islam". I am non-muslim, for me, this kind of comment is too general which demand huge explaination from Mr. Falcon, who ever it is. All non-muslim in Malaysia will be shock to read that statement. We direct our support to Palestine humanity Crisis as Malaysian and never in our thought to being unfair to our fellow muslim. That comment could triger anger from non-muslim people. Please remember that Tun's blog is folowed by majority of Malaysian and let us respect each other as Malaysian.

Mr. falcon, If you don't have anything good to write, better be keep quite or buy your ticket to Palestine and FIGHT.....! rather than make such coward comment....

1) The west cannot deny that they are now under the control of the Jews. They are all apes which are leased by the Jews.

2) I am saddened, the Goliath west with their might is being control by the tiny David. Hahahahaha.....

YABhg Tun,
Western democracy is based on their mold. To them, only democracy that been practised by them is correct and others are not.War tribunal is only valid to poor countries or rouge countries which have been trade mark by them. UN has failed to play the roles as world government. Reformation has to be done ASAP to the UN.
Salam and thanks.

Assalamualaikum Tun,
At last, I am able to sign in at this new site.
Just a short comment, i.e. Western Democracy = Hypocrisy (in the highest order).
Thank you, Wassalam.

Dear Tun Dr M,

Please allow me to reply the following statement

By akubosan on January 26, 2009 8:19 PM Stated:

The man who was a criminal, now a corpse, is made a "hero" by some groups. Just like some bollywood movie.

Aku lagi bosan dengan kenyataan diatas. A person is considered a criminal only after the verdict is meted by the judge. Until then he/she is a suspect.

Only when this sort of tragedy take place to us,we feel the pain.
He may not be a Bollywood hero but gets the sympathy of many because of such horrifying death at a tender age.

If at all the tragedy happened, after he was proven guilty, then his family can take it as harsh punishment for not so severe crime.

Tabi Tun,

Tun are a great man with a great idea. But, remember Tun, not every time your idea is always right. Mentioning the palestine, we should look to the history. so, we cannot blame either isreal or palestine. we are not the people of palestine or isreal. so we don't understand what's actually happening there! we support palestine because of religion? Or something else?

Sometime God allows something happen to reveal His distiny!

God bless Tun.

salam Tun,

somebody should seriously consider to print windscreen / bumper stickers,t-shirts,badges which read (my suggestion)..

'ZIONISTS JEWS = NAZIS'

OR

'THE JEWISH REGIME OCCUPYING PALESTINIAN LAND IS THE NEW NAZIS'

Usually Chinese businessmen smells opportunity and capitalise very fast.I'll be your first customer!

Dear Tun

I don't condone the attack on Gaza. However i also note that there are no reports of Hamas many attacks on Israel that led to the Gaza invasion by the Israeli troops in Malaysian newspapers.

Sir,
As much as I abhor Israel's military actions upon Gaza and its people, I can't help but feel that in this particular case Hamas is to blame. After all, they were shooting rockets into Israeli towns since the time of Israel's pull-out from Gaza. Moreover, they were firing from populated areas which put the Israeli army in a difficult position. No sovereign country, be they legitimate or otherwise would sit by idly while another people shot rockets at them on a daily basis, let alone Israel. The history of the Israeli-Palestinian is just that, history. Israel has been in existence for over 60 years now. This was mandated by the British through the Balfour Declaration. There is no way to force the Jews out of Palestine short of killing all of them. This, of course, is impossible. So, what remains is for the Palestinians to engage in negotiations with the enemy. They must pursue a policy of non-violence a'la Gandhi or Martin Luther King Jr. The Arab countries are simply not bothered about the plight of their fellow brothers, the Palestinians. The best option is for them to lay down their weapons. Wait until things cool off. Then initiate genuine negotiations with Israel. At the moment they are not talking to the Israelis. In fact, the Hamas charter calls for the total destruction of Israel. To them there is no place for a Jewish state in Palestine or for that matter, a Christian one. The fact is, the two Semitic peoples can live together as they have done for centuries. All is needed is a moderate Palestinian leadership like Fatah's Mohamed Abbas and his party. Hamas is too violent for comfort. The Israelis are an intelligent lot and Hamas needs to engage them wisely. Otherwise, they will continue to suffer the consequences of messing with the highly trained Israeli Defense Forces.

Assalamualaikom Tun,

Saya melihat pihat Israel dibantu teknologi US, mara dalam kewilayah Palestin. Perbuatan mereka seolah-oleh seorang lelaki sedang merogol seorang gadis dikhalayak ramai dan tiada siapa datang menolong!

Dimanakah OIC?

Thoughtful quote of Hitler's personal diary... "I could have annihilated all the Jews in the world, but I left some of them so you will know why I was killing them."

I fully support u, Tun that the Jew rules the world by proxy. But the more important and crucial issue is what make them very powerful compare to us Muslim? Can we imitate some of their action plans so that we are at par or better than them? Surely, the muslim world desperately needs a leader to properly plan and execute the planning to bring the muslim nations to higher place so that the world will respect and look up to us once again. Better start now than never. It is never too late!

They fought for Israel since Crussade War. Hm... No wonder. Why they do that? Retake? This is what happen when Politic mix with religion. Religion divide, belief unites. Once they believe, nothing can change even if they try to convert to else. What on earth will make politics change? The game remain the same even the player changed. The conflicts must be stop once and for all. But, how? Who will let prides behind and hug their long ages enemy? If, and if it is if, the third world war might come and is it because Nazi rebirth? Feel free to explore the world heart. She remember everything, human who tried dominating everything.
The Jews don't have right to ignore Palestin existence just because they was promised for the land. The only right they have is to be grateful they survived in WWII. Jesus Christ alone can't change them. Maybe his brother can. But if He is, He will be under ISA custody, if He is in Malaysia, today.

Dear Tun,
I am not surprised about the absence (or lack thereof) of reporting on Gaza's sufferings. Their freedom of press only applies when it comes to issues that suit their stakeholders - politicians, ignorant public, and lobbyists including Jewish groups.

Take for example - BBC and Sky TV. They simply refuse to air 2-minute UK appeal for humanitarian donations from organizations such as UK Red Cross and other organizations even after 10,000 plus complaints against them to date!Their excuses - to maintain impartiality! By refusing to air, they are technically partial - that's is they choose to listen to those who tell them not to air.

So, there is no such thing as free press anywhere in this world.

IMHO, this is one of their strategies, to let the people in their country to keep in their mind only about how terrorist is the Arab people (Muslim) but not to show the reality on how cruel and brutal is the Israel people to Palestinian (Muslim). As a matter of fact, mass media have major influences on the way how the people in that country think.

Yang Berbahagia Tun,
Assalamu'alaikum!

TOKDET,

ISLAM WORLD MUST TALK TO THE CHRISTIAN WORLD
ABOUT THE JEWS HISTORY FROM ANCIENT UNTIL NOW
AND WHAT DESTRUCTION THEY HAVE DONE TO THE WORLD

BECAUSE THEIR MISSION IS NOT GOING TO END YET IN THE NEXT 10 YEARS

Benarlah kata John Travolta dalam filem SWORDFISH, "They (muslim) take (kill) one of us, we take the entire city". Tiada guna memberikan bantuan pembangunan semula USD 1.5 billion sedangkan pengeboman bertali arus mengena bumi GAZA. Sementara contoh anti tank missile adalah AT 3 Sagger, AT 4 Spigot,AT 5 Spandrel. Wassallam

The Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu, has criticised the BBC for refusing to air a charity appeal for aid in Gaza.

He told reporters that his message to broadcasters who were showing the appeal was: "Cheers - and keep on doing it".

A'kum Tun!

How are you? I hope you are in good health.

It is very obvious that they American government is controlled by the Jews. It is not because they are bad people but because they are smart. We can't deny their intelligence and hard work that bring them to achieve that level. Before this they were only few millions of them and look at them now. How powerful they have become!.

What about us the Muslims around the world? Still fighting and killing each other for power, money and status. Is it not us the Muslims that need to start putting plans into action and doing something that benefit us all instead of doing something that show our stupidity and laziness?

Even though we hate so much to see the Jews are controlling the world by proxy, we need to start realizing it before it's too late. We have to start doing some catch up or maybe a lot to be done. If only we stop blaming each other and not helping one another. We Muslims today only pity by the lips but no action.

And the American government also benefited from them through their ideas and technology or maybe their money to make US become better and more powerful. So they are both benefiting from one another. I don't see anything wrong with that. It's like doing business when you get a WIN-WIN situation deal? Will you take it or leave it?

Like you always said, 'MELAYU MUDAH LUPA' but it can also be used as 'MUSLIMS MUDAH LUPA'.

We Muslims we always forget about others who have been treated unfairly by the Israelis and yet the Muslims world do not speak. Why? Is it because they are scared? Or maybe because they forget that Allah tell them to help your brothers when they are in trouble? They could help but they choose not to! It is sad to see this happening among the Muslims world who famously claimed that all Muslims are brothers. The Arabs, they are coward. They do not do anything but continue watching the Palestinians being killed by the Israelis army.

There is no one to change our destiny but we ourselves. We Muslims still far behind in every aspects of life. It is because we do not compete enough and be among the winners to bring ISLAM to another level but we continue fighting and killing each other just for your one's benefit. So sad.....

thank you

aziz

I think the masses here in London smypathizes with the Gaza victims. There were even pickets (though not as vociferous as one would expect) in the city on Sunday. Unfortunately the media magnates control what are to be fed to the public. So far, anything Gaza has been pretty muted. BBC is refusing to even telecast a short clip sponsored by NGOs seeking humanitary aid for Gaza victims - calling it a move to ensure political "impartiality".

Yes, pathetic.

Assalammualaikum Tun,

So far, i am fairly disappointed with the Arab nations for not doing anything significant in helping the Palestinians. I am proud to hear that two South East Asian countries, both Malaysia and Indonesia, are doing their utmost best in defending Palestine.

I am disappointed to know that there are those who do not even know the root cause of the Palestine-Israel conflict. Some do not even know that Israel was formed illegally. I hope that you can publish a write-up about Israel being formed illegally and tell us more about the history behind Palestine and the illegal formation of the state of Israel. It would be nice if you could publish such article internationally.

Then, to add icing to the cake, probably you could once and for all answer the question whether the war in Palestine is truly a jihad. If i write an article about it, no body will read because i am not a well-known individual like you.

I would like to praise Malaysia for her effort in standing up for right from wrong. Kudos.

Assalammualaikum.

Feel free to visit my political blog about Singapore at forzasingapore.blogspot.com

Thanks.

Salam Tun.

Your finding is not surprising. The general mass in Britain just doesn't care. Those who care will always find their source of information.

Those there who care knew of how well filtered the news that reached the public in Britain. Double standard?....Do not talk about that. Britain is well known for that for centuries. No one shall beg to differ.

For those who are looking and seeing at the same time shall find other sources and make their own judgement. The world now is borderless as far as information is concerned. To hell for those who are looking but not seeing. Shallow minded and peanut headed were mere dust in the wind.

Tun.....how would your ideas be revive? The alternative to USD. Or alternative to jews capital market even better. I strongly believe that if these two mechanism can be put to stop, US will be tamed and jews can be discipline for I strongly believe that they've created all the trouble in the world so as to destabilise the world in order to protect those two tools. Tools of their survival.

The Jews started the gangsterism business in the early days of US. They proceed to drugs. Embarked on oil and guns. Now IT and monetory. Human right and whatever right....and so on. I strongly believe they are camouflage.

May be some of the people that read this blog may suggest something...

THE UN?..OIC?..THE RUSSIANS?..THE EU?

SEEMS THAT THE WHOLE WORLD IS HOPELESSLY HELPLESS AGAINST THE MIGHT OF THE USA AND ISREAL, THE SUPER TERRORISTS OF THE WORLD.

ONLY IN THE ALMIGHTY ALLAH SWT, WE PLACE OUR PRAYERS AND HOPE.

ALFATIHAH, AMIN.

Salam YBhg Tun,

To sans:

For your info, almost all of Malaysian Muslims and maybe Muslims all over the world are anti-Seminitic.. You wanted us the Muslims to be pro-Seminitics....

You are anti-Muslims...

tun,

not all jew are zionist.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/jan/07/gaza-israel-palestine

zionist =
1) those who robbed palestinian land without giving any compensation plus demolished their houses and kill the palestinians to expand their land.
2) those who not respect UN resolution and keep on doing what they want seems that they are exampted from UN resolution
3) those who believe every jew should go back to israel and any obstacle in between in order to meet the agenda should be demolished. (if the palestinians are the obstacles, they should be removed or should be demolished. thats why they attack the civillians)

To all people out there!!
please stop this virus from spreading out. it is like a cancer, expanding time to time. when jews around the world decided to go back to israel, they are going to expand their land. Lebanon, Jordan, Syria are among the countries that potentially to occupied.
this virus called the zionist should be stopped from spreading.
THEY ARE REALLY REALLY DANGEROUS.
THIS CANCER IS NOT EASY TO CURE, NO CURE AND NO MEDICINE YET.
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE

5) Why don’t u highlight what opposition has manipulate what government said and done? Were they are good enough or has opposition became an angel? Does u really meant that opposition has done nothing wrong all these years??????????

To Sans:

1) I’m anti-Semantic

2) Yes, I’m

We must put an end to the jewish lies. Never trust them. They have their influences inside our beloved country. We know who they are but we let ourselves blinded.

Dear Tun,

Tun kata disini, mereka 'mengakuinya' disana

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/7850407.stm

Salam Ybhg Tun,

We are always saying how evil (and apparently effective) the Jews are in controlling and influencing the Western media. Railing against, condemning them and maybe even boycotting their products are pointless. The European powers (including Stalinist Russia)were ambivalent, perhaps even had no emphathy for the Jewish people residing in Europe then. But now because they control the media they are 'all powerful'.

We have to take a leaf from their book. They are smart enough to think aboout their survival by 'investing'in lobby groups and the western media. I only wish that the rich Muslim nations are less selfish (by focusing only on their own wealth)and instead in a combined effort 'invest' in the same way the Jews have done.

There was an opportunity recently, when the influentual New York Times when broke and had to persuade the Mexican telecoms billionaire, Carlos Slim, to come to their rescue.(Why is our own Malaysian Indian billionaire keeping his money abroad instead of reinvesting in Malaysia or supporting our nation's causes?)

Tun, you are still held in high regard in the Middle East unlike the current chairman of the OIC, and you can still do something about this.

best regards and wishing you and Tun Hasmah well always,

Hussin Md Zin

America is a Jewish Colony: Update on Olmert’s bragging about his humiliation of Bush and the American people
This is an update of America is a Jewish Colony: Olmert reveals all.
By Bob Finch

How have America’s commentators reacted to Olmert’s confession?
Abraham Foxman defends Olmert.
Abraham foxman, national director of the jewish fascist organization the anti-defamation league, defended olmert by likening the incident to a private squabble between two friends. "I have no problem with what Olmert did," said Abraham Foxman, national director of the Anti-Defamation League. "I think the mistake was to talk about it in public. This is what friendships are about. He was not interfering in political issues. You have a relationship, and if you don’t like what is being done, then you go to the boss and tell him."" (Nathan Guttman ‘Olmert’s Boast of ‘Shaming’ Rice Provokes Diplomatic Furor’ http://www.forward.com/articles/14957/ January 15, 2009).

This is just blatant spin. A person does not publicly boast about revealing his friend’s stupidity (i.e. bush didn’t know the content of the resolution); he doesn’t enjoy boasting about humiliating a friend (bush); nor relish shaming another friend (rice).

Foxman is trying to diminish the seriousness of olmert’s major political gaffe. He wants to prevent the incident from becoming a full scale political controversy which might enable more americans to learn about the jews’ death grip over the bush regime and american political system. He doesn’t want the american public questioning the power that the jews-only state has over america, a military hyperpower. Such a controversy might end up destroying the taboos the jewish lobby has so carefully nurtured in america over the last six decades. It could harm the zionist state’s chances of dominating future american administrations. Foxman wants the american public to continue to believe in the zionist-nurtured fantasy that america is the greatest nation on Earth rather than a pathetic puppet which makes massive annual tribute payments, and supplies endless quantities of weapons, to its jewish masters on the other side of the planet.

Douglas Bloomfield defends Olmert.
"Douglas Bloomfield, a former chief lobbyist for the Washington-based pro-Israel lobby the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, dismissed the episode as "a spitting match between two lame ducks." "This reinforces the perception that the Israeli prime minister and Israeli leaders have easy access to the leaders of the U.S.," Bloomfield said. "It is a fact that the Israeli prime minister can get the president on the phone. Not every prime minister in the world can do that. It is no secret that Israel tried to influence the U.S. regarding U.N. votes. It reinforces what the rivals of Israel say about the enormous clout Israel has in Washington, and I see nothing wrong with that." But Bloomfield added, "It is a mistake to talk about it."" (Nathan Guttman ‘Olmert’s Boast of ‘Shaming’ Rice Provokes Diplomatic Furor’ http://www.forward.com/articles/14957/ January 15, 2009). Bloomfield defends olmert but believes he was wrong to make such an incident public. The problem is not that olmert treats the american president as his whipping boy but that he tells everyone about it.

William Pfaff.
"Olmert told an Israeli audience that, last Friday, upon hearing of Rice’s position, he immediately telephoned George W. Bush. Told that Bush was delivering an address in Philadelphia, Olmert replied, "I’m not interested," demanding to speak to Bush. Bush then left his Philadelphia podium and, according to Olmert, the Israeli prime minister instructed the American president that "the U.S. cannot possibly vote in favor of this resolution." Bush then telephoned Rice and ordered her to abstain from the vote. That’s Olmert’s story, or Israeli megalomania, presented to the Israelis with pride, but unlikely to be received by Americans with pleasure." (William Pfaff ‘Who’s in Charge, Obama, the Pentagon or Israel?’ http://www.truthdig.com/report/item/20090115_whos_in_charge_obama_the_pentagon_or_israel/ January 15, 2009). Pfaff couldn’t be more coy. The president of the jews-only state publicly brags about humiliating the president of the world’s military hyper-power but, according to pfaff, the only negative outcome is that it is "unlikely to be received by Americans with pleasure." Where’s pfaff’s raging denunciation of olmert’s insult to his president? Or does he really know who controls america and doesn’t want to be the one to spill the beans?

David Bromwich.
"American politicians exhibit an identification with Israel that is now in excess of the measurable effects of the Israel lobby. The blindness of the identification has led the US to respond with keen sensitivity to Israeli requests for assistance and moral support, and to underestimate the suffering caused by the Gaza blockade and by the settlements and checkpoints and the wall on the West Bank. Yet grant the potency of the lobby and the identification – even so, the arrogance with which Israel dictates policy is hard to comprehend on the usual index of motives. Ehud Olmert boasted to a crowd in Ashkelon on 12 January that with one phone call to Bush, he forced Condoleezza Rice to abstain from voting for the UN ceasefire resolution she herself had prepared. The depth, the efficacy and the immediacy of the influence are treated by Olmert as an open secret." (David Bromwich ‘LRB contributors react to events in Gaza’ http://www.lrb.co.uk/web/15/01/2009/mult04_.html January 15, 2009). In other words, jewish extremists haven’t colonized america, americans just identify themselves with whatever the jewish nazis decide to do. Quite why americans would want to give away billions of dollars in non-refundable loans, weapons and munitions, and then be reviled by the rest of the world when the jews use these loans and weapons to carry out gross acts of barbarism, is nonsensical. But then advocating such nonsense is much easier than highlighting how the jews have turned america into a huge warehouse from which they take whatever they need to boost the jews’ regional supremacism in the middle east.

The American public’s response to Olmert’s statement.
The american public’s reaction, or more accurately non-reaction, to olmert’s dumping on the american president is highly revealing. In order to understand this non-event let’s suggest that in america there are three ideal types of personality. Firstly, the red blooded, working/middle class american patriot, who is proud of his country no matter what it does. Secondly, american jews i.e. those with a jewish genetic heritage who have assimilated into american society and are not interested in zionism and have no intention of emigrating to the jews-only state in palestine. Thirdly, jews living in america whose sole loyalty is to the racist state and who are willing to sacrifice american interests whenever this might be of benefit to jewish racism.

It might have been expected that there would be a huge public uproar from the first ideal type that their president had been so mercilessly humiliated by what, to them, must seem like the pip-squeak leader of a pip-squeak country. But where were american patriots’ mass displays of raging anger towards olmert and the zionist state? Janet jackson’s superbowl nipple display elicited a far greater scale of public indignation than olmert’s humiliation of bush.

This astounding non-reaction may have been brought about by two factors. Firstly, america’s zionist dominated media refused to make a political issue out of the incident. The serious publications/broadcasters didn’t want to discuss it and the tabloids refused to hype it up. Secondly no patriotic american politician wanted to treat the issue seriously let alone hype it for political gain.

A good example of the second ideal type is phillip weiss. His first reaction to the incident was that he didn’t notice the humiliation! "Clemons gets it right re Olmert and Condi, that it's a disgraceful attack. I missed the humiliation in this. Israel often treats our executive like the help, because Israelis know they have power in Washington. It's similar to Ehud Barak treating Bill Clinton like a peer in 2000, and Yitzhak Shamir lying to George Bush about not building more settlements, in '91. They always get away with it, because of the lobby. No wonder the fury at J Street has been coordinated by the Israeli embassy. They have so much to lose." (Philip Weiss ‘Where is Hillary on cease-fire?’ http://www.philipweiss.org/mondoweiss/2009/01/where-is-hillary-on-ceasefire-.html January 13, 2009). Weiss knows that jewish leaders bully american presidents so to him it was nothing unusual and thus nothing to get unduly worked up about. It was just like the head of the household ticking off the domestic! But as an american it might have been thought he should have felt some animosity toward olmert and the racist state for humiliating what is supposedly his president and his country.

The third ideal type are those people living in america who are patriotic to the jews-only state in palestine but not america. They whip up american patriotism solely for the benefit of the jews-only state. (For example the jewish neocons fostered american patriotism for the war in iraq which was beneficial to the jews-only state but not america). This type of person would have felt proud that his tribe’s political leader had the chutzpah to humiliate an american president. Instead of condemning olmert they defended him. Instead of being outraged they feigned indifference. Instead of turning the incident into a political controversy they sought to marginalize it. The last thing they wanted was to expose jewish power over american politicians, and thus the dominance of the squatter state over the world’s military hyper-power. It might undermine american patriots’ grandiose fantasies about the importance of their country and cast doubts in their minds its relationship to the zionist state.

Thus the american public’s non-reaction to the olmert incident can be explained in terms of the dominance of the third ideal type which wants to maintain jewish dominance over america. There were no patriotic american political leaders and no patriotic american commentators to politicize this revealing political story because most of them are members of the third ideal type i.e. traitors to america.

American patriots are proud of america’s military might, technological progress, and economic success. Some even go so far as talking about america’s destiny to make the world a better place. And yet the vast mass of them were indifferent to the political humiliation of their president. They seemed oblivious that olmert had not merely humiliated their president but exposed the servility of the american political system which gives billions of dollars a year in tribute payments to the rogue state. They seemed oblivious of america losing its global political reputation by giving the jews-only state unconditional political and diplomatic support even when it ruthlessly pursues racist policies and carries out the most barbaric onslaughts against unarmed civilians.

American patriotism seems to be expressed only when america’s ruling jewish elite conjures it up because it suits their interests or those of the jews-only state. American patriots are just mindless cheerleaders in a choreography written for them by their invisible jewish masters.

What had Olmert to fear about his bragging?
Another important revelation arising out of olmert’s bragging about his control over bush was that he had no fear of retribution from the bush regime. A few days before olmert’s confession, the american congress had passed a resolution which wholly supported the jews’ slaughter of palestinian civilians in gaza even though the rest of the world opposed such a slaughter and despised america for giving the jews blanket support. "The latest illustration of this Washington puppet show, backed by the most modern weapons and billions of taxpayer dollars annually sent to Israel, was the grotesquely one-sided Resolutions whisked through the Senate and the House of Representatives. While a massive bombing and invasion of Gaza was underway, the resolution blaming Hamas for all the civilian casualties and devastation, 99% of it inflicted on Palestinians, zoomed through the Senate by voice vote and through the House by a vote of 390 to 5 with 22 legislators voting present. There is more dissent against this destruction of Gaza among the Israeli people, the Knesset, the Israeli media, and Jewish-Americans than among the dittoheads on Capitol Hill." (Ralph Nader ‘Punishing the Palestinians: State Terrorism Against Gaza’ http://www.counterpunch.com/nader01202009.html January 20, 2009).

Olmert knew not merely that bush was at the end of his presidency but that congress wouldn’t allow the bush regime to retaliate against him for what he’d said. He clearly knew that congress is more devoted to jewish presidents than to its own presidents. The american congress should be called the american knesset because jewish leaders have frequently got away with humiliating american presidents. Uri avnery sought, indirectly, to counter any political damage that could ensue from the incident by reiterating the politically conventional viewpoint that the jews-only state is just an american colonial outpost. "The Israeli Barak understands that if the American Barack gets angry, that would mean disaster. Conclusion: the horrors of Gaza must stop before the inauguration. This week that determined all political and military decisions. Not "the number of rockets", not "victory", not "breaking Hamas"." (Uri Avnery ‘Livni's Smile: The Boss Has Gone Mad’ http://www.counterpunch.com/avnery01192009.html January 19, 2009). But avnery’s statement is just spin because he knows that if obama ever criticized the jews-only state, let alone threatened to reduce america’s massive tribute payments, or supplies of munitions, to the rogue state, he would immediately come under serious political flak from congress. It is the president of the united states who is terrified of jewish political leaders not the other way around. Avnery’s seemingly commonsensical statement is just jewish hasbara to cover up the current global balance of power in which the jews-only state, the jewish lobby in america, the zionist dominated american media, and the american knesset, have dominant political influence over the american president.

The american congress should be the most patriotic institution in america but it has been transformed into a legislature whose rightful home would be somewhere on the west bank. Members of congress are loyal to their jewish financial paymasters and are thus not only traitorous to the american electorate but to the american president. They would criticize, perhaps even impeach, their own president but they would never dare to make the slightest criticism of a jewish leader or the jewish state. Whenever the crunch comes, the american knesset backs jewish leaders against their own president.

Where’s Olmert’s gratitude to Bush?
There are many reasons why the jews could militarily pulverise gaza reducing large parts of it to rubble and slaughtering thousands of innocent palestinian civilians.

Firstly, the bush regime, like its predecessors, provided massive tribute payments to the jews-only state in palestine which meant the war would not put a financial strain on the jewish government’s budget or on the jewish economy.

Secondly, the bush regime supplied the jews-only state with whatever munitions it wanted. "The supply of American weapons used in the massacres was authorized previously by such a margin. These included the Hellfire missile which sucks the air out of lungs, ruptures livers and amputates arms and legs without the necessity of shrapnel: a "major advance," according to the specialist literature. As a senator, then president-elect, Obama raised no objection to these state-of-the-art [sic] weapons being rushed to Israel, worth $22 billion in 2008, in time for the long-planned assault on Gaza's fenced and helpless population." (John Pilger ‘Come On Down for Your Freedom Medals’ http://www.antiwar.com/pilger/?articleid=14110 January 22, 2009); "Frida Berrigan, a senior research associate with the Arms Trade Resource Center at the World Policy Institute, points out that the bulk of Israel's current arsenal is composed of military equipment supplied under U.S. assistance programs. Israel, she said, has been supplied with 226 F-16 fighter planes and attack jets, more than 700 M60 battle tanks, 6,000 armored personnel carriers and scores of transport planes, attack helicopters and utility and training aircraft, bombs and tactical missiles of all kinds." (Thalif Deen ‘Hamas Fights on Uneven Battlefield’ http://www.antiwar.com/ips/deen.php?articleid=14124 January 23, 2009). This open-ended supply of weapons and munitions had a critical impact on the jews’ military strategy. The jews-only state adopted a military policy of grossly disproportionate retaliation against its adversaries because it could call upon an unlimited supply of munitions from its american warehouse. If the jews had to rely solely on their own financial resources they would never have been able to afford to pursue such a psychotic military policy. The attack on gaza entailed such a financial extravagance it would have bankrupted many other countries even highly industrialized countries like britain.

Thirdly, the jews knew they could act as barbarically as they wanted against palestinian civilians because the bush regime would give them all the political and diplomatic protection they needed from the anger of the rest of the world. There would be no chance of the united nations or the security council agreeing on sanctions against the jewish state because the bush regime would just veto the proposal.

Finally, over the last eight years the bush regime has provided the jews-only state with a huge range of services. It has launched proxy zionist wars against afghanistan and iraq. Bush more or less handed the west bank to the squatter state. He’d continually protected the jewish state in the united nations. And, in 2006, he’d deflected global condemnations of the jews’ slaughter of lebanese civilians onto himself and america.

It might have been expected then that olmert would have been hugely grateful to bush for his enormous financial, political, and military, generosity towards the jews-only state. And yet despite bush’s assiduous dedication to the cause of jewish racism, olmert still treated him with contempt. This wasn’t chutzpah so much as the ingratitude that a master bestows upon his slave. If olmert was really the leader of an american outpost in the middle east he’d have been overjoyed by the vast help that the bush regime had provided. The fact that he treated bush so contemptuously rather than lavished praise upon him showed that the jewish state is dominant over america and, correspondingly, that the global jewish empire treats america as its colony.

Olmert’s outburst showed his willingness to humiliate bush, congress, and the american people. It showed that jewish dominance of the american knesset is so overwhelming that members of congress would not condemn an attack on their own president. It showed that the american knesset would protect olmert from any retribution by the bush regime. It showed that olmert, with the support of the american knesset and the zionist dominated american media, felt powerful enough to humiliate the american president without suffering any american patriotic outrage that would hurt the interests of the racist state. And it showed the sheer ingratitude that jewish leaders have towards their american minions no matter what these muppets do for their jewish masters. Americans have sacrificed their wealth, their dignity, their political principles, and their decency, for the sake of supporting the barbaric jews-only state and yet jewish leaders still prefer to humiliate american presidents and the american people rather than showing any gratitude. The jews have not merely colonized america they have colonized the minds of the american people. Americans have become laughably docile in comparison to the hugely resilient, courageous, and unconquerable, palestinians.

Dr mahathir, have you forgotten that Hamas has been firing rockets into Israel from the Gaza strip for nearly a decade.

Did the news in America, Britain or malaysia broadcast it? No!

How come the aid that is coming into Gaza now is from America and Britain??? What's countries like Iran, Saudi Arabia and Egypt doing??? Those Islamic countries rich in oil..why arent they doing anything to help the civilians in Gaza?

Assalamuailaikum...
Hmmmm... MMMMM Tak guna kawan dengan Negara AS ni, dalam Al-Quran pun dah cakap dah.. masa zaman dulu TUN takde jabat tangan dengan US Pres pun banyak AS company melabur kat sini... renungkanlah.. Isteri, anak-anak, harta hanya hiasan dunia.. Bangunlah Umat Islam kita berjihat.. Allahuakbar..

Don't know about that but I have been watching CNN and BBC. They showed the Israeli attack on Gaza plus all the 'scenes'. I have never read their newspapers. It comes as no surprise if they don't report the attack on Gaza since Israel was their creation in 1948. The US and UK created Israel by taking the land from the Palestinians by force and 'throwing' them out of 'Israeil'. The Palestinians become refugees in their own land.

And they have got the guts to blame ISLAM for the Middle East Crisis. Where got road?

GONG XI FA CHAI to all.

Assalam Tun@Ayahanda.
Wassalam.

Salam Tun & fellow bloggers,

1.In the West freedom of the press mean anything but not negative reporting about Israel/Jews

2.BBC was recently condemed by the public for not reporting donation pledge for Gaza war victims

3.Their lame excuse: trying to be neutral in the Israel/Gaza conflict

4.What they pretend not to see is, it's about saving children & women, nothing to do with Hamas

5.Off course the true motives are to save a few blushed faced Jews investors & policy makers & to avoid being accused as anti-semitism

6.These policy makers (read Jews proxy) are the same culprit branding freedom fighters in Gaza,Afghan,Iraq,Kashmir as terrorist

Wssalam

America is a Jewish Colony: Olmert reveals all.
By Bob Finch

On monday january 12, 2009, the leader of the jews-only state in palestine ehud olmert revealed to a jewish audience in ashkelon that he had insisted george bush should tell condoleeza rice to vote against a united nations’ resolution calling for a ceasefire to the jews’ attack on gaza. Olmert did not inadvertently humiliate the president of the united states of america; the secretary of state, condoleeza rice; congress; and the american people, by divulging this information. On the contrary. He was boasting about his power to humiliate the president and thus the american people.

The global Jewish Empire: a global Zionist conspiracy.
There are a handful of commentators in the western world who have been compiling the evidence that america, the world’s greatest democracy and military hyper-power, has been taken over by a jewish elite which acts on behalf of the jews-only state in palestine. America’s ruling jewish elite’s most well known operatives are the jewish lobby and the jewish neocons. These israel-firsters have been corrupting the bush regime into implementing policies which promote the interests of the racist state even though they have become increasing catastrophic, economically, militarily, politically, and morally, for america and the american people. After al qaeda’s attacks on new york and the pentagon, zionists imported the jews’ decades-old war against terrorism into america and ever since the bush regime has been implementing this disastrous zionist doctrine.

Hardline warmongering zionists in the jews-only state, america, and the rest of the western world, (including most recently, india) have been setting the global political agenda: an invasion of afghanistan, an invasion of iraq, an invasion of lebanon, continued ethnic cleansing of palestinians, and an attack on iran to trigger a regional, perhaps even a global, war to boost the jews-only state’s military dominance of the greater middle east.

The mainstream media in the western world is dominated by zionists who use their paper publications, tv, and films, to issue the most blatant zionist propaganda which many westerners welcome because of the disgusting islamophobia in which it is wrapped. Jewish power in america is now so blatant that jewish extremists are commissioned to publish articles in the country’s most prestigious newspapers advocating world war three. It has to be asked: what normal, sane, decent person around the world wants another world war? The only people insane enough to demand world war three are hysterical, paranoid, warmongering, jews.

The irony of the politically kosher worldview which pervades the western world is that the jewish propagandists who go out of their way to ridicule the idea of a global jewish conspiracy are themselves advocates of a global islamic conspiracy. In this hollywood concoction al quaeda, osma bin laden, hezbollah, hamas, iran, saddam’s iraq, etc, etc, have all been secretly working together to exterminate the jews and overthrow western civilization. Such fantastic drivel is being spewed out solely to cover up the global jewish conspiracy.

Any decent, open-minded, person observing geopolitics since the foundation of the jews-only state in palestine, would have been all too well aware of the way that america has been colonized by jewish neocons. What is so remarkable about this feat is not so much that a tiny minority could colonize a global hyperpower but that this minority could keep the colonization out of the public realm for so long even though the facts themselves have been screaming out to anyone who could be bothered to listen.

In the politically kosher western world, anti-zionist propositions are usually ostracized but mostly ridiculed or denounced in passing. However, when one of the jewish leaders at the centre of this global zionist conspiracy gives a clear cut example of his treatment of the president of the united states as a whipping boy, the deniers are put in an embarrassing position. This is especially so since olmert’s order to bush was in the best interests of the jews-only state but was in the president’s (and america’s) worst possible interests because it provoked the rest of the world to despise him, and america, even more for his continued warmongering. So, the question arises, how are mainstream commentators going to confront such a shocking and indisputable revelation? Here’s a spectacular firework display of the truth about jewish control over america so are they now going to pretend they can’t see the fireworks? In the recent past western politicians wholeheartedly supported the jewish fantasy that saddam possessed nuclear weapons. Is the world just going to continue upholding the latest jewish fantasy that iran is close to getting closer to acquiring nukes whilst, at the same time, pretending that the jews don’t have them? This article looks at commentators’ response to olmert’s sudden revelation.

What Olmert said.
Statement.
Many mainstream american publications covered the story of olmert’s abusive and humiliating treatment of bush. Although they quoted from his speech the vast majority used only a few selective quotes and often quoted from different parts of his speech. It is only when the entire speech is heard that the intensity of olmert’s taunting of bush becomes clear. The american media thus seemed to limit the quotes it used partly in order to avoid undermining the authority of the president of the united states but also to protect the racist state by preventing americans from appreciating just how vicious olmert’s attack on bush had been.

The three quotes following provide a fullish account of olmert’s speech. "According to Olmert, he called the White House upon hearing of the upcoming UN Security Council resolution. "I said, 'Get me President Bush on the phone.' They said he was in the middle of giving a speech in Philadelphia. I said I didn't care: 'I need to talk to him now.' He got off the podium and spoke to me," Olmert said, according to multiple media reports. As a result of his conversation with President Bush, Olmert claimed, the president called Rice and forced her to abstain from voting on the measure, which she herself had helped author. "He gave an order to the secretary of state and she did not vote in favor of it, a resolution she cooked up, phrased, organized, and maneuvered for. She was left pretty shamed and abstained on a resolution she arranged," Olmert said." (Daniel Luban ‘Olmert's Claims Revive Israel Lobby Controversy’ http://www.antiwar.com/ips/luban.php?articleid=14061 January 14, 2009); "According to Olmert, he told Bush that the US should not vote for the resolution, and Bush then directed Rice to abstain. "She was left pretty embarrassed," Olmert said. Like Olmert's aides, an official in the Prime Minister's Office said "the Prime Minister's comments on Monday were a correct account of what took place."" (Herb Keinon, Allison Hoffman ‘'PM stands by his version in diplo spat'’ http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?cid=1231866576464&pagename=JPost%2FJPArticle%2FPrinter January 14, 2009); "So, here, in Olmert's words, is what happened next. "In the night between Thursday and Friday, when the secretary of state wanted to lead the vote on a cease-fire at the Security Council, we did not want her to vote in favor. I said, 'Get me President Bush on the phone.' They said he was in the middle of giving a speech in Philadelphia. I said I didn't care. 'I need to talk to him now.' He got off the podium and spoke to me." According to Olmert, Bush was clueless. "He said: 'Listen. I don't know about it. I didn't see it. I'm not familiar with the phrasing.’ I told him the United States could not vote in favor. It cannot vote in favor of such a resolution. He immediately called the secretary of state and told her not to vote in favor."" (Patrick J. Buchanan ‘Is Ehud's Poodle Acting Up?’ http://www.antiwar.com/pat/?articleid=14091 January 17, 2009).

U.S. State Department response.
America’s state department was angry with olmert but whether this was because it didn’t like the president being humiliated or because they were furious he’d given the game away is not clear. "The U.S. State Department fiercely denied claims made by Ehud Olmert about his influence over President George W. Bush, in an incident that has stirred up old debates about the role of the Israeli government and the so-called "Israel lobby" in formulating Middle East policy in Washington." (Daniel Luban ‘Olmert's Claims Revive Israel Lobby Controversy’ http://www.antiwar.com/ips/luban.php?articleid=14061 January 14, 2009).

Olmert not backing down.
"The State Department immediately contradicted Olmert’s claims, insisting that "the government of Israel does not make US policy." Spokesman Sean McCormack also suggested that Israel might want to "clarify or correct the record" with respect to the comments. Rice has dismissed Olmert’s claims as "fiction." The comments have sparked no small concern in Israel, where the fear is that Olmert’s claims to be able to order the President of the United States around will only increase public opposition in America to Israel’s influence on its foreign policy. Yet spokesmen for Olmert say that the prime minister stands behind his version of events." (‘Olmert Stands Behind Rice-Shaming Claim: Rice Calls Prime Minister's Comments "Fiction"’ http://news.antiwar.com/2009/01/14/olmert-stands-behind-rice-shaming-claim/ January 14, 2009).

Haaretz suggests Olmert closer to the truth than Rice.
"Inquiries with people uninvolved in the spat between Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice reveal that his version of the lead-up to America's vote on last week's Security Council resolution is closer to the truth than hers. The whole story would have ended well had Olmert behaved like a responsible adult and restrained his own impulses. Even his close associates admit that he would have done better to skip the public boasting about how he persuaded Bush to overrule Rice. Quite aside from the fact that this embarrassed the U.S. administration, Olmert's associates understand all too well that this story merely provides fresh ammunition to those who claim the Jews are the ones who really control America." (Akiva Eldar ‘Inquiries show Olmert version of UN Gaza vote spat closer to truth than Rice's’ http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1055966.html January 01, 2009).

How have America’s commentators reacted to Olmert confession?
In the past, american commentators have adamantly refused to discuss jewish economic, cultural, or political, power in america. Indeed, their silence is yet another piece of evidence as to the existence of such power. So, will olmert’s confession set them free to challenge the jews’ colonization of america and its calamitous consequences for the country (and many other countries around the world)? Or will they just go on living comfortably in the zionist fantasy world created for them by america’s jewish ruling elite?

Juan Cole picks up on Olmert’s confession to propose that Jewish nazis are exercising their power in America not merely through Bribery but Blackmail.
Cole covered the outburst in detail and speculated that zionist power in america might derive from mossad’s acquisition of material with which it could blackmail bush. For a political commentator such as cole, a high profile member of america’s defunct wasp establishment, to have to resort to such a wacky, fringe, idea is unusual to say the least. But then again what alternative does he have since he won’t talk about america’s ruling jewish elite, the colossal economic power acquired by the jewish elite, nor the zionists near total domination of congress and the american media.

Steven C Clemons.
Clemons personalizes olmert’s statement so that it is merely a kick in the face for the president and condoleeza rice rather than a statement of shame about the gross subservience of america’s much vaunted democratic system and the ignominious position of the american people whose political leaders care more about protecting the jews-only state in palestine than looking after their own citizens. "No matter what one may think of Condoleezza Rice's diplomatic record, which I think is better than many liberal critics gauge, the fact that Israel Prime Minister Ehud Olmert gave her a kick in the teeth as she departs her office is obnoxious and harmful all around. Shaming a US President and Secretary of State may not change the course in policy and may not shift America's general approach to the region, at least for the time being, but it does take the fizz out of the unique relationship." (Steven C Clemons ‘Defending Condi: Olmert Shames Himself in Kick-in-the-Teeth Attack on Rice’ http://www.thewashingtonnote.com/archives/2009/01/defending_condi/ January 12, 2009). Clemons has no interest in questioning the political significance of america’s democracy, reputed by common opinion to be the best in the world, even though its president and members of congress are mere vassals to a rogue state, a hive of jewish racists, in the middle east.

Philip Weiss.
Here’s one jewish writer making a determined effort to learn the truth about american politics.

Xymphora points out Kouchner’s Zionist Treachery.
"Juan Cole, who seems to be letting his freak flag fly recently, has an excellent detailed posting on the automatic control that the Israeli government has over the American government, exemplified by Olmert picking up the phone and ordering Bush around to the extent that the United States changed its mind and abstained, rather than voted for, the latest UN cease-fire resolution. This was a public slap in the face for Rice, who actually helped draft the resolution, and Olmert is crowing about it. Note the behind-the-scenes trickery of the Jew Kouchner, who valiantly worked for his homeland, Israel, naturally, not France, to try to block the resolution. Cole concludes by raising the most important issue of all, the consideration of which is necessitated by the lack of any obvious motive for Bush to act as he did, the conspiracy theory that the mysterious hold of Zionism over American politicians is connected to blackmail. Israeli intelligence, with the aid of the secret cadre of dual-loyalty American Jews, gathers dossiers of information on characters like Bush, people who have a lot of embarrassments in their pasts, and holds it over them. Other than direct payments of cash, which probably explains Cheney, this is by far the most plausible theory for why American politicians consistently and blatantly act against American interests (sorry Noam). I wonder what the Israeli dossier on Obama looks like?" (Xymphora ‘The mysterious hold of Zionism over American politicians’ http://xymphora.blogspot.com/2009/01/mysterious-hold-of-zionism-over.html January 13, 2009).

Matthew Yglesias.
"The State Department has some not-terribly-convincing denials out. But one way or another it seems both telling and unseemly that Olmert is going around bragging about this." (Matthew Yglesias ‘Olmert Claims to Control US Foreign Policy’ http://yglesias.thinkprogress.org/archives/2009/01/olmert_claims_to_control_us_foreign_policy.php January 13, 2009). Olmert should be applauded for telling the truth not criticized for bragging. Now that the truth is out why doesn’t yglesias spend his time outlining its fundamental political implications and ramifications?

Paul Craig Roberts.
The inimitable paul craig roberts is a unique and fearless commentator: a former politician who speaks truth to power. "Israeli politicians have been bragging for decades about the control they exercise over the US government. In his final press conference, President Bush, deluded to the very end, said that the whole world respects America. In fact, when the world looks at America, what it sees is an Israeli colony. What is happening to the Palestinians herded into the Gaza Ghetto is happening because of American money and weapons. It is just as much an attack by the United States as an attack by Israel. The US government is complicit in the war crimes. "Our" president was a puppet for a cabal led by Dick Cheney and a handful of Jewish neoconservatives, who took control of the Pentagon, the State Department, the National Security Council, the CIA, and "Homeland Security." From these power positions, the neocon cabal used lies and deception to invade Afghanistan and Iraq, pointless wars that have cost Americans $3 trillion, while millions of Americans lose their jobs, their pensions, and their access to health care." (Paul Craig Roberts ‘The White House Moron Stumbles to the Finish: The Humiliation of America’ http://www.counterpunch.com/roberts01142009.html January 14, 2009).

Steven Spiegel.
"Middle East expert Steven Spiegel described the episode as "the worst faux pas by an Israeli prime minister in history. You really do wonder what the prime minister was thinking, if it's true, you'd really want to keep it as quiet as possible, and if it's not true, why would you want to make up a story that would embarrass both the Bush administration and the Israeli government and draw criticism from those who are antagonistic to Israel?" asked Spiegel, director of the Center for Middle East Development at UCLA. "No matter how you play it, exaggeration, falsehood, whole truth, the whole thing makes them all look bad," Spiegel told The Jerusalem Post." (Herb Keinon, Allison Hoffman ‘'PM stands by his version in diplo spat'’ http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?cid=1231866576464&pagename=JPost%2FJPArticle%2FPrinter January 14, 2009).

Justin Raimondo.
In the past, raimondo has been edging towards stating that the jews-only state in palestine, with the aid of its political agents in america, controls america’s foreign policies. It might have been thought he would have taken olmert’s statement as a great opportunity to highlight this fundamental reality of american politics. At first it seems he would. "It (Olmert’s statement) tells us who is used to giving orders, and who is accustomed to obedience." (Justin Raimondo ‘Israel versus America: Is the 'special relationship' over? http://www.antiwar.com/justin/?articleid=14075 January 16, 2009). But he doesn’t. "What Gaza signals is a new turn for the Israelis, a clean break, if you will, with their status as an American puppet in the Middle East. They are clearly going off on their own, intent on waging a war of unmitigated aggression against all their neighbors." (Justin Raimondo ‘Israel versus America: Is the 'special relationship' over? http://www.antiwar.com/justin/?articleid=14075 January 16, 2009). When given the opportunity he ducks it. The apartheid state has always been an american puppet but is now going off on its own. Such an argument would make sense if america had stopped giving the racist state vast annual tribute payments and stopped providing it with endless quantities of weapons and munitions with which to slaughter innocent civilians. Oh well, seems like raimondo’s back in the closet.

Patrick J. Buchanan.
Over the last couple of decades, buchanan has been one of the few mainstream american politicians who have criticized the jews-only state and jewish power in america and has suffered the consequences. And yet he’s been quite restrained about olmert’s confession. "With Bush and Rice leaving office in hours, and Olmert in weeks, the story may seem to lack significance. Yet, public gloating by an Israeli prime minister that he can order a U.S. president off a podium and instruct him to reverse and humiliate his secretary of state may cause even Ehud's poodle to rise up on its hind legs one day and bite its master. Taking such liberties with a superpower that, for Israel's benefit, has shoveled out $150 billion and subordinated its own interests in the Arab and Islamic world would seem a hubristic and stupid thing to do." (Patrick J. Buchanan ‘Is Ehud's Poodle Acting Up?’ http://www.antiwar.com/pat/?articleid=14091 January 17, 2009).

Brian Cloughley.
Cloughley enters the fray, "And the President of the United States of America jumps to obey the Israeli prime minister." (Brian Cloughley ‘The Power of AIPAC: Who Runs America?’ http://www.counterpunch.com/cloughley01162009.html January 16-18, 2009).

However, the reason that america’s ruling jewish elite is nigh on impervious is because those on the left refuse to challenge it. Cloughley points out that members of congress are funded by jews but doesn’t generalize beyond this to expose america’s ruling jewish elite. "There is one thing certain: the US Congress is going to continue its unconditional support for Israel, no matter what war crimes are committed by its disgusting thugs-in-uniform. The Reps need the money, after all, which they get through political action committees which are generously funded by American Jews. And they are scared to political death by the threat that pro-Israel agencies will destroy them politically if they dare say a word against Israel. There are very few Representatives of the people of America who would dare challenge Israel, or who might possibly criticize Israel, or who have the courage to condemn atrocities committed by Israel." (Brian Cloughley ‘The Power of AIPAC: Who Runs America?’ http://www.counterpunch.com/cloughley01162009.html January 16-18, 2009).

He criticizes the american media for not telling the truth. "Not many Americans know anything about the hideous barbarity in Gaza, because US cable networks and newspapers rarely carry pictures of disfigured blood-splashed children who have been killed, maimed or orphaned by the Israelis. But here in Europe we have access to some TV channels and newspapers that are very different from the pliant pro-Zion patsies of the major news outlets across the Atlantic." (Brian Cloughley ‘The Power of AIPAC: Who Runs America?’ http://www.counterpunch.com/cloughley01162009.html January 16-18, 2009). But he fails to tell the truth by not denouncing the zionist owned and controlled american media. The media in any country is a reflection of that society’s ruling class. No ruling class rules without the help of a cheerleading media. The reason that america’s mainstream media supports the jews-only state is because it is owned and staffed primarily by members of america’s ruling jewish elite.

Tony Karon.
As far as is known karon has made no comment about olmert’s confession. However, the confession places karon’s comments about rice’s supervision of the jewish war against lebanon in 2006 in a different light. "It was clear, at the time, that the neophyte Olmert was outsourcing his decision-making to Condi Rice. I wrote at the time of the sense that Israel was waging a proxy war for the Bush Administration, a sense confirmed at the time by the hawkish dean of Israeli military correspondents, Ze’ev Schiff, who wrote at the height of the conflict: "U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is the figure leading the strategy of changing the situation in Lebanon, not Prime Minister Ehud Olmert or Defense Minister Amir Peretz. She has so far managed to withstand international pressure in favor of a cease-fire, even though this will allow Hezbollah to retain its status as a militia armed by Iran and Syria." (Tony Karon ‘Olmert: His Own Shlemiel, or Bush’s?’ http://tonykaron.com/2008/01/31/olmert-his-own-shlemiel-or-bushs/ January 31, 2008). If olmert was capable of humiliating rice over the united nations’ resolution over gaza is it likely that, two years earlier, he’d allowed her to run the show slaughtering lebanese civilians?

George Bush, the Jews’ whipping Boy.
What has not been pointed out by commentators on olmert’s confession was that he was referencing a statement made by ariel sharon a few years earlier. In september 2001, sharon had publicly humiliated bush by calling him a chamberlain. "Don't repeat the terrible mistake of 1938 when the enlightened democracies of Europe decided to sacrifice Czechoslovakia for a convenient temporary solution. Do not try to placate the Arabs at our expense ... Israel will not be Czechoslovakia. Israel will fight terror." (‘Israel consumed by victim culture’ Guardian 5.10.2001). A few days later, sharon compounded the humiliation, "Every time we do something, you (Shimon Peres) tell me Americans will do this and will do that. I want to tell you something very clear. Don’t worry about American pressure on Israel; we, the Jewish people, control America and the Americans know it." (Zionist Prime Minister Ariel Sharon October 3, 2001 IAP News).

Olmert’s jewish audience would have picked up on this reference and understood that olmert was trying to cloak himself with sharon’s mantle as one of the jews’ most belligerent warmongers (although whether they believed olmert deserved such a comparison is another matter).

Olmert’s humiliation of bush could not be a more fitting finale to bush’s presidency. His presidency began not so much on september 11, 2001 with al qaeda’s attacks on new york and the pentagon but with sharon’s success in forcing him to accept the likudnik interpretation of this event. The bush regime did not respond to this event by implementing policies to protect and promote american interests. On the contrary, sharon, and the jewish neocons/lobby in america, pushed the bush regime into implementing policies that boosted the interests of the jews-only state in palestine even though these policies would have a catastrophic impact on america’s interests. In other words, the president of the united states failed to interpret this critical event, even though it happened in his own country, because he was overwhelmed by the narrative put forward by the leader of a shitty little country on the other side of the planet and by jewish neocons in america loyal to that country. Al quaeda attacked america because of its unconditional support for the jews-only state. Bush and america could have realized that such unconditional support was against america’s interests, but the rogue state and its jewish agents in america pressured the president into adopting even more extreme zionist policies which put america interests at even greater risk.

Al qaeda’s payback on america was a major turning point in american history but americans had nothing to do with the direction in which their own country then moved. "Common wisdom has it that after 9/11, a new era of geo-politics was ushered in, defined by what is usually called the Bush doctrine: pre-emptive wars, attacks on terrorist infrastructure (read: entire countries), an insistence that all the enemy understands is force. In fact, it would be more accurate to call this rigid worldview the Likud doctrine. What happened on September 11, 2001 is that the Likud doctrine, previously targeted against Palestinians, was picked up by the most powerful nation on earth and applied on a global scale. Call it the Likudisation of the world: the real legacy of 9/11." (Naomi Klein ‘The Likud doctrine’ The Guardian http://www.guardian.co.uk/russia/article/0,2763,1301504,00.html September 10, 2004); "But the idea of a super-power behaving in a similar way, responding to terrorist threats or guerrilla incursions by flattening another country just to preserve its own deterrent credibility, is odd in the extreme. It is one thing for the US unconditionally to underwrite Israelis’ behaviour (though in neither country’s interest, as some Israeli commentators at least have remarked). But for the US to imitate Israel wholesale, to import that tiny country’s self-destructive, intemperate response to any hostility or opposition and to make it the leitmotif of American foreign policy: that is simply bizarre. Bush’s Middle Eastern policy now tracks so closely to the Israeli precedent that it is very difficult to see daylight between the two. It is this surreal turn of events that helps explain the confusion and silence of American liberal thinking on the subject (as well, perhaps, as Tony Blair’s syntactically sympathetic me-tooism). Historically, liberals have been unsympathetic to ‘wars of choice’ when undertaken or proposed by their own government. War, in the liberal imagination (and not only the liberal one), is a last resort, not a first option. But the United States now has an Israeli-style foreign policy and America’s liberal intellectuals overwhelmingly support it." (Tony Judt ‘Bush’s Useful Idiots’ http://www.lrb.co.uk/v28/n18/judt01_.html September 21 2006).

An american president who calls for a palestinian state (the first to do so) but fails to deliver it, despite the successive, nonstop, diplomatic efforts of colin powell and condoleezza rice, america’s massive funding of the apartheid state, and the widespread international support for such a goal, is clearly subservient to zionist power and influence. Brent scowcroft was one of the few to confront such fundamental realities of american political life when he stated that ariel sharon had bush wrapped around his little finger. It is a remarkable testimony to americans’ capability for living in their highly leveraged zionist fantasy world that they ignored scowcroft’s insider remark and continued their patriotic bleats about how america is the most powerful country in the world with the world’s sole military hyper-power.

For a number of other blatant examples of how sharon continually beat up bush and got him to support extreme zionist policies which have had the most devastating economic, political, and military, consequences for america please see ‘America is a Jewish Colony: Bush is Sharon’s Muppet’
http://themundiclub.blogspot.com/2009/01/america-is-jewish-colony-bush-is.html

It is hardly surprising then that the bush presidency should end so ignominiously when another hysterical, paranoid, warmonger from the jewish nazi state boasted to the whole world that, in effect, bush was nothing but his whipping boy. Why should olmert fear retribution for his gross humiliation of bush and the american people when they can’t harm jewish power in america?

Please use your influence and don't let Israel find an excuse to attack Gaza ever again. Hamas must never give them the reason. That way nobody will suffer or die.

Assalaamualaikum,

Dear brothers & sisters in Islam,

The Palestinian people truly need our sympathy and help. The recent invasion in Gaza by the Israel has made life more pressing and very difficult for our brothers, sisters and children in Palestine. Recently in the news, more than 1,300 innocent lives have been killed and more than 22,000 buildings like houses, schools, Masjids, hospital and government infrastructures were bombed and destroyed. There is no clean drinking water, the sick and the injured are left helpless as medical drugs are very scarce and limited, children have lost their parent(s), there are no jobs to earn for a living and food are very expensive and scarce too. The disheartening story will go on and on without any certainty of improving the lives of Palestinians in the future. It is estimated that there are 1.3 billion Muslims in the world. However, sad to say, majority are living below poverty line.

Muslim’s leaders and government from the Islamic countries have not done enough to fight back the aggression of the enemy of Islam. Respectful leaders in the ‘Muslim’ countries have their own socio-economical issues to deal with politically. The Libyan‘s government had called the Arabians “coward”. Thus it is time we step forth with strong faith and hope to help bring peace to our own suffering Muslim brothers and sisters! All over the world there were demonstrations on the streets, condemning the Jewish state for their aggression and terror attack in Gaza. Some even called to boycott US products and others shouting for Jihad. In what way would such emotional aggression help our suffering brothers and sisters? I question, in what way would it feed them? Cure them? Educate them? We’re only embarrassing ourselves to condone to the political excuses between it all. We should not lean back on our couches, grumbling to ourselves. Misery and the suffering will continue while we wait for the next cycle of confrontation to flare up again. We will not watch them suffer any longer. We will not ignore and pretend we are not in position to do anything at all. We have to help them. Our own brothers and sisters! It is pointless to beat our chest and emotionally distress ourselves in frustrations. What we should do is to live up and put our mind, body and soul together in perfect harmony, spiritually, remembering our creator and the Almighty, GOD.

We talk of what we CAN do. What we CAN do is to perform our IBADAH to ALLAH. We will not condone to vengeance with our aggressors and enemies but we must improve ourselves and seek solace as a WHOLE complete Muslims by example to this World and hereafter. Let us reflect upon what we have done for our brothers and sisters in Islam? Return to the true teachings of Islam by referring to The HOLY QURAN, HADITHS and THE SUNNAH of our Great Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.

Let us ask ourselves:

i) What have we done as Muslims, to serve our Islamic obligatory duty to the UMMAH as part of the 1.3 billion Muslims of the world?

ii) As Muslims, why aren’t we doing something bold and self-dependent using our own resources to pull together saving the lives of Muslims and help contribute Peace in this world?

Let me call upon you, all brothers and sisters in Islam, to join hands and be united as one true UMMAH of our beloved Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. Together we can gather our resources in making life more meaning full and bring about Peace to this world in accordance to the teaching of ISLAM as being taught by our beloved Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.

To begin, firstly we have to STOP all activities which may be used by others to brand us, Muslims as indiscipline, loud, emotional and mere empty vessels. We have to refrain from verbalizing corrupted thoughts in our minds. Change our mindset and dedicate ourselves as ONE United World of Muslims. WE, who practice SINCERETY, GENEROSITY, LOYALTY, DISCIPLINE, COURTESY, SEEKING PEACE AND CONSTANTLY ACQUIRING KNOWLEDGE, producing filial children who grows up to be respectful working adults and sincerely kneeling down in IBADAH to ALLAH to seek HIS blessing. THAT’s the true teaching of ISLAM!

Let us assume 1% of the 1.3 billion Muslim of the world, 10 million Muslims, who are average earners could spend an average of $ 5 a day for their breakfast, lunch and dinner. By fasting every Monday and Thursday following the SUNNAH of our beloved Prophet Muhammad S.A.W., the true teachings of Islam, each person will be able to contribute at least a sum of $ 40 per month.

Calculations:

$ 5 X 2 days of fasting per week per person = $ 10
$ 10 X 4 weeks = $ 40 per person per month
Assuming all the 10 million people, which is 1 % of the total Muslims population of the world, are willing to cooperate and fast, therefore we could make a donation of: - $ 40 X 10,000,000 = $ 400 MILLION a month!

If 10 % of the entire population of Muslims join in, it will become $ 4 billion a month!

Now, isn’t that a substantial amount of money that could be used to help our fellow Muslims in the Palestine and other part of the World?

We may start the project by naming it: -

“FASTINGS for Palestine’s PEACE”

Please note that in order to see this project succeed, we may register participating Muslims. After all, the fasting itself will spiritually promote good health, brotherhood & sisterhood among fellow Muslims, carrying out our religious obligatory of ‘SEDEKAH’ (giving out alms), following the ‘SUNNAH’ of our beloved Prophet Muhammad S.A.W., becoming good and caring Muslims of the Modern World, INSHA’ALLAH.

We must carry on the life-long efforts thru fasting on every Monday and Thursday for the rest of our life in order to save other life around the world. Of course, in the Holy month of RAMADHAN, certainly more funds can be collected. A reliable collection centres preferably MASJIDS (Mosques) with volunteers are needed for each individual representative country of which will coordinate with the HQ agrees and appointed by all participating countries. In order to avoid inappropriate use of funds, all incoming and outgoing funds must be documented, signed and approved by the selected committees. All funds must be properly booked, professionally accounted and audited.

The least you could do as a Muslim is to help circulating and forward this email message around to fellow Muslims whom you know; all your networks, friends, associations, missionaries, Mosques, MADRASAHS, various Muslim organizations etc. Their positive and immediate response on the idea is very important and could help us on how we can get it started as soon as possible.

Wassalaam Mualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatu.

It is very disheartening for the victims. Today, BBC and Sky announce that they will not air the charity appeal to help the massive underfunded Gaza with the argument of impartiality despite the pressure from other parties. They are inhuman. Pro-Israeli lobbyists are behind all these!

Salam Tok Det,

I think this is the double standard that been used for a long time by the west. They try to cover up, as much as they can so that people won't notice the massacre in Gaza.

I wonder if the British government had used the "D-Notice" again on the case of Gaza. But i read on the newspapers, the Government of British had condemns the BBC themselves for not showing the news. As far as I know, BBC is just like RTM here, but we understood it have more liberty than RTM had. But still it was under the control of British government right?

It's so confusing.. Is it me or it is them who always wanted to confuse us? I think its them, as been said earlier, they always being double standard in this kind of issues..

Bye Tok Det, Wassalam..

Dear Tun,

We can make a very simple deduction. Why the Jews are so powerful? Because the Arabs are too weak to stand united against the Israelis. In fact, Israel is surrounded by the Arab countries and yet they can't even destroy the Israelis. So the blame falls on the Arab themselves. That is a fact which we simply cannot deny.Until and unless the Arab leaders are united to face the Israeli atrocities they will continue to be ridiculed by the Israelis until doomsday.

The question now why are we so concerned about the Palestinians when their own brothers (the Arabs) do not do anything to retaliate and help them?

The Arab leaders particularly their presidents and kings are obiligated towards the United States and Europe because of their vested personal interest. Their position as heads of states is so fragile that they are afraid that they can be thrown out of power at anytime of the day. So they need to kowtow western countries for protection so that they will continue to rule their respective countries.

I don't have any respect at all with these Arab leaders. They are bloody corrupted leaders. They have no balls. A good example is Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan. They would prefer to remain silence when the Israelis invaded Gaza. When Gaza is being destroyed by the Israelis and finally retreated then only the Saudi government willing to offer a billion dollar financial aid to reconstruct the infrastructure of Gaza city. They prefer to see Gaza ruined and letting the thousand of innocent Palestinian children and womaen die rather than willing to act militarily to support them and destroy the Israelis. They are just hypocrite Arabs of the first order. Shame on them !!!

Salaam Tun,

When first Tun said that Jews rule the world by proxy, the whole world condemned it. And many people like me who wanted to show the support to Tun but unfortunately there was no platform like today (Blog:Chedet). I am so happy that we can openly and loudly express our support for Tun that he is TOTALLY right to say that Jewish control over the ethnic European countries, in particular the United States of America is total.

Dear Tun, we are with you. We follow you and we dont care whatsoever the circumstances may arise by telling a bit of "truth" for the sake of humanity.

May Allah bless you and empower you locally and internationally.

Amin.

You know it and, we know it all the time that the truth on what happened in Gaza was not truthfully and fully publish in the Western Media. Thats why when you were condemning the US Govt publicly in this Chedet.cc for their bias treatmen, we have some ignorant and hard headed bloggers who responded/commenting with No substance at all. All they like to do is Get Back At You...and Smashing You..!! And try to show to us that they are Superior than us. What they failed to know that they have been blinded by the Jewish.

Talking about being primitive, I guess our primitive Media Channel managed to make us wiser and knowledgeable than them. We are able to see which is right and which is wrong . Wherelse their advance media distribution techology have left the Americans and the Brits still clueless on what is happening in the world and they cannot see for themselves that their being CONQUERED and used by the Jewish. So sad...!!

Salaam Tun,

Well what do you expect from the western media, they are own by the Jews so it is obvious that they will not report on the actual happenings in Gaza.......really shame to them the champion of free speach and freedom of press, the rules only apply to others not to them.......afterall they are kafir!!!!!

Even BBC is too scared to run donation campaign for Gaza.......what more can you say.......!!!!!

Regards to you.

Assalamualaikum, Tun.

First of all, please allow me to introduce myself. I am a Muslim student, doing my A-Level under PSD scholarship and will follow your footstep of studying Medicine next year. I would like you to know that I am a big fan of yours and therefore am keen to enlighten you with an epiphany I've realised recently.

It has been reported that children have suffered the blow of the war in Gaza.

But Tun, has it occured to you that the killings of children are intentional?

The thought struck me when I was reading the articles about the manner of the murder of the children whereby the children suffered an intended hit, rather than being caught in bombed areas, hence the death.

One may ask why children are killed mercilessly. I would say that the Jews have learned America's mistake during the Gulf war. America attacked Iraq and left the country, leaving children who are deeply affected by the deaths of their fathers. Now, after a decade, these children who have grown into vengeful adults, attack America by the means of terrorism and suicide bombings.

Thus, to prevent the Jewish land from being blasted apart in the future, the Jews slay the Palestinian kids today. This is way beyond the line of humanity that a human can cross.

Any chance for the Western and European media to write about that?

Tun, I hope that my humble thought will shed light on a whole new perspective on why Israel is committing a crime much worse than war. Thanks a lot for allotting a space for me to speak, Tun!

May God Always Bless You, Tun!

ISLAM mengajar supaya mengenal siapakah musuh kita sebenarnya.

5 al-Maidah 82.

Tun, actually there are a lot of news about Palestine and Israel here in the US. Maybe there are some news bias towards the Israel, but there are also some efforts to state the facts and hear stories from both sides. Maybe not as much as Malaysia.

After Obama's inauguration, the papers gradually turned the focus to the new president and not publishing too much about the Middle East war anymore. Al-Jazeera is doing their job well in covering the Mid East issue though.

We are hoping that the leaders of the Muslim countries keep pushing the PBB to act tougher. I thought the OIC has a strong voice out there, but it seems like they are just 'whispering' and no one can hear them well.

Tun,
UMNO ADUNs and YBs defecting to Pakatan Rakyat. What is going to
happen to UMNO when it is reduced to a fringe party?

Dear Tun, i personally mail out to you through the webadmin@chedet.com. Kindly help me on my request. Pls let me know wether Tun receive my mail or not. tq

Dear Tun,

Yet there are many Malaysians who worship the West in particular the USA and UK. There are more now that advocating the so called ' Freedom of Speech, Human Rights, Transperancies, etc, etc. I call these people " Brown/Black and Yellow Englishmen "

There are also some political leaders that are being supported by the West and has even financed these people to overthrow you during your rule and even now funding them to take over the country.

The West loves people who are fantastic orators and can melt the hearts of the Malaysians. Because in most cases those who are clever with their fiery speeches are nothing but just 'empty vessels' and let their Western masters called the shots from behind.

Salam Tun, interesting and not shocking. As I mentioned in my previous post to you, long time ago, even with Obama up there, I don't see any improvement in Gaza.

Sorry to be off topic a bit here....On a hot local topic, if you are reading this post and if you have the time, I would like to hear your comment on Kugen's death. What do you think about the deputy ministers' reactions in Serdang Hospital? Why no one trust the system anymore? Is our country so full of conspiracy? and no more justice for the man on the street? The man who was a criminal, now a corpse, is made a "hero" by some groups. Just like some bollywood movie.

Masalahnya Tun...

1. Tun, its a grand design when the governments of USA, UK and others deliberately interfered in education, social, psychological, political affairs of their peoples.

2. First, they will ensure the masses are ignorant of what's going on around the world...they go to schools to know mostly about their own affairs, their newspapers mostly reported local news...so you can figure out their ignorance.

3. Just like Tun had experienced, I was in California during the Gulf War in early 90s. Most of the news in the medias were doctored, limited,biased. Here are some examples;
- all video clips showed US & allies only attacked empty buildings, army installations, infras, etc as if no one was killed, and most Americans bought it! Except for the educated americans who knew the truth.
- they used terms like 'desert shield', 'nintendo boys', 'smart bombs' etc...all to convince american idiots the targets were destroyed without misses and therefore no casualty to the people at large
- they showed little jews in cradle with gas masks because iraqis used scud missiles...my god, the damages done by the patriot missiles to the iraqis were hidden!
- they used same videos over and over again...but the ignorant americans (thanks to the education system)were proud of their armed forces.

4. So, like what you are afraid of, ignorants will believe anything, just gossips will do. Until now, 2009, there are millions of ignorants out there, even in developed countries. Even some of the bloggers here like using their emotions rather than thheir brains.

5. All are the efforts of the jews; controlling the leaders, medias, ngos, etc. Its working according to thheir protocols. Imagine, the British govt owns BBC but yet cannot convince BBC to promote aids for the Gaza victims.

Thank you Tun for sharing your concern.

Assalamualaikum Tun,

I'm not the least surprise at all Tun. They are damn bias and the greatest HYPOCRITES on earth! They will never tell their own people the truth. They are afraid to expose the evil wrongdoings and the brutalities of their Masters.

But the network Al-Jazeera has given lots of information and inputs about the atrocities of the Israelis on Gaza. Watch on the internet online web Twitter (just picked it up BH today).

They forced down our throats to obey their sermons on freedom of this and freedom of that. They themselves are not free. THEY ARE SLAVES OF MASTER JEWS! The Jews are glorified to the point of being worshiped.
May Allah forbid.

Truth will Prevail! They cannot hide the truth forever. They cannot make all the people blind and deaf all the time.
They have been exposed their true colours to the world by Tun. Great Tun! People must not be restrain from knowing the truth.

Take care Tun and May Allah Look Upon You Always.

Dear Tun,

Actually not all jewish are supported the establishment of illegal zionis state of Israel. Recently, I have found that certain jewish group who do not supported the establishment of Israel state in Palestine.

1st of all, we have to know that Zionism is a political philosopy which it main intention is to establish the Israel state while Judiasm is religion of most of Jews. Based on true Torah teaching, God has set all Jews to be scaterred all over the world. There will be a Messiah who gather all the Jews and lead them back to Israel. Zionis is a group and has misleading most of Jews and using certain part of Judiasm teaching in order to achiving their own political agenda.

Clearly, Zionist is a political group and absolutely not a Messiah as being thought in Torah. According to Torah, Messiah will lead all the Jews back to Israel not Zionist.

BUSTANUL BISTARI BEY

TU, It's the same in Malaysia. When the gov't do something ,their mouthpiece bla bla for days. But if the opposition do something, the gov't mouthpiece are mute. It's worst in Singapore.

Tun,

America and United Kingdom need not to report to the world because they are for it.They are the culprits. They were together with Israel in hand and glove. Please see them differently because certainly they are our enemy. It is expected from them. Our only savour lies on the unity of Islamic countries.Work towards it.

I live in the Uk and I don't agree with you at all. When the ISrael attack was in full force it was front page news in the newspapers and on TV. Now with the ceasefire and the reduction in death and destruction, it is no longer front page news, just like in Malaysia.

Is it front page news in Malaysia?

Gaza is also vying with the morbid economic news. People are losing their jobs and the UK economy is in a recession. This is and can be an editorial decision on what is most relevant to the British people but of course, this to you is about "Jewish control".

Seriouly Tun, you're anti-Seminitic rants has poisoned enough of the political discourse in Malaysia.

Ybhg. Tun,

Kenyataan Tun Begitu Ikhlas

Salam Tun.

"I was shocked that in the United Kingdom, the land of the free press and free speech there was hardly any report on Gaza and the Israeli invasion. Certainly there were no pictures of the brutal killing of children."

Jom kita imbau kembali keadaan Malaysia pada suatu ketika dahulu.

Malaysia pernah mengalami situasi yang serupa. Negaranya demokrasi, pemimpin sangat berwawasan, tetapi kebebasan suaranya amat terbatas.

Saya meminjam kata-kata Usman Awang:

"Jangan takut melanggar pantang,
jika pantang menghalang kemajuan.
Jangan segan menentang larangan,
jika yakin kepada kebenaran.
Jangan malu mengucapkan keyakinan,
jika percaya kepada keadilan."

Tambahan kata-kata saya pula begini:

"Dosa yang dilakukan semasa kita menjadi pemimpin boleh jadi satu kesilapan. Dan dosa itu menjadi lebih parah, jika kita ego, serta tidak mahu mengakuinya.

Dan dosa itu akan berterusan, kesannya hingga ke anak cucu, jika kita mahu mengubah dan memperbetulkannya. Dan saya melihat, Pengajaran Sains dan Matematik Sekolah dalam Bahasa Inggeris sebagai suatu dosa yang besar."

Selamat berbahagia Tun.

Assalamualaikum YABhg. Tun

Saya cuma nak tanya , siapakah "MASTER" Suhahakam Dan apa kah matlamat Syed Hamid Albar Menteri Dalam Negeri mengadakan Forum ISA.

haronjanor

Tun, I agree with u. However, I think that it is time for Malaysians, to disregard their political and religous beliefs to act together in requesting the superpowers to check Israel's brutality.

Further, efforts must be made to get Egypt to open its borders to Gaza so that humanitarian aids can be channeled to the Palestinians. Egypt shall exercise its sovereign rights to help its Palestinian brothers regardless of the veiled threats from Israel and its big brothers.

Tun, I only knew bits and pieces of information retrieved from the MSM as well as talks from alternative political parties. If other OIC countries are hesitating to take the right action, I feel that it is just right for Tun to start the action with support from Asian countries.

Lastly, wishing Tun Hasmah a speedy recovery. May both of u be blessed with good health as we still have miles to go before we sleep...

Asslamualaikum ayahanda Tun and bonda siti hasmah. Hope you're always in His blessings.

Please continue what you are doing. It's a form of Jihad too. Fardhu Kifayah. Who else have the courage to voice this out with strong facts in simple straight to the point language??

To the US and the British, you are the real bullies. Invading Iraq with false reasons?? other country can't own nuke facilities for energy but you do have nuclear weapons.

Palestine can't even protect their mother land from continuous invasion. Homes are demolished, widows and orphans are increasingly alarming. In facts they are killed too including infants. Israel is clearly doing the holocaust on Palestine. High tech war tecnologies vs local made rocket (and stone)??

Your papers didn't show about what happened in Gaza. What this means?? The answer are, first, clearly demonstrate the world biggest hipocrites ever with an enormous amount of hipocrisy (maybe you could include this in the Guinness World of Records) and secondly ,yes, Jews do rule the world by proxy.

Salam Tun

I've sent an article to you through Perdana Leadership Foundation on 'Media Terrorism'

macam mana nak siarkan dalam press?
kalau press itu sendiri kepunyaan Jews?

Tun yang saya kagumi,

A'kum wbt...

Sekian wasalam.

Semoga Tun dan Dr. Siti Hasmah berada dlm. keadaan sihat walafiat.

Asalam tun dan keluarga semoga sihat hendakNya.

KERAJAAN PERLU MENGHANTAR SUKARELAWAN YANG SANGGUP BEJUANG DALAM MEMPERTAHANKAN PALESTIN.
KERAJAAN JUGA HARUS MEMBEKALKAN KELENGKAPAN SENJATA BAGI BANTUAN KEPADA PALESTIN UNTUK MEMERANGI ISRAEL.

KERAJAAN PERLU KERAS DALAM ISU PALESTIN INI.
JIKA AMERIKA DAN SEKUTUNYA MEMBANTU ISRAEL DALAM PENINDASAN TERHADAP RAKYAT PALESTI. KENAPA KITA SEBAGAI NEGARA ISLAM TIDAK MEMBANTU PALESTIN???

SAYA YAKIN JIKA KITA MEMULAKAN LANGKAH INI SUDAH PASTI BANYAK LAGI NEGARA YANG AKAN MEMBANTU DALAM MEMPERJUANGKAN PALESTIN!!!!

Tun, please continue your mission to influence other countries and also the UN General Assembly to establish a War Crime Tribunal for Gaza. Lets those Israelis soldiers and Generals (including the Isreal PM) be brought to justice for the recent Gaza genocide.

Salam Tun,

""The Europeans killed 6 million Jews out of 12 million, but today the Jews rule this world by proxy. They get others to fight and die for them.""
